Say what?
[Read the article: White House pushes back against Times' tapes story]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I read what Perino said and the meaning was not clear at first. Maybe I'm a bit thick today. So I parsed it, word by word. I diagramed the sentences. Still, it meant nothing. It was so ambiguous as to have no meaning at all. Then I stepped back, rubbed my eyes and looked at it again from a couple feet away. I focused not on the words, but on the image as a whole - just beyond the surface of the paper. And then, in an instant, an image formed. "Oh, I see, she's lying" And then it all made sense.

Ding Dong the Giuliani is Dead
[Read the article: A bad day for Rudy Giuliani]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He can't come back from this. The only thing he had going for himself was his percieved stength, confidence and invincibility. The authoritarians latch on to winners. Now that they see Giuliani being a loser, they will abandon him toot-sweet.
No compasion for a man without compasion. No quarter for a man who offers none. Zero tolerance for this prosecutor-turned-criminal.

George is in a tough spot
[Read the article: The Decider? He's really more like the Magi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If George says anything that isn't an apology, or an admission of guilt or incompetence, then it sounds completely ridiculous. He cannot sing his praises - he has none. He can't blame other's misdeads - his far surpass all others. He can no longer strike fear into our hearts anymore - that option was played out a long long time ago. He cannot make any promises - he's kept none.
This is a perfect example. Bush, a 'goodwill ambassador' - absurd.
I think his best option is to admit guilt and incompetence. Everyone knows anyway. At least he won't look so ridiculous anymore. But he doesn't have the guts.

I wonder if.......
[Read the article: Ralph Nader's foggy crystal ball]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...... Nader would have run if he had known how aweful Bush was going to be. I think he picked the wrong time and/or the wrong method to make his statement about our system. Now he needs to make amends for the damage he indirectly did, and go back to doing what he does best: advocating for the consumer and the average american citizen. He's been awol for the past decade. Get off your lazy egotistical but Nader, your nation needs you!

Rudy
[Read the article: Is Rudy hearing Ron Paul's footsteps?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If I have to, I can live with McCain, but I could not have Giuliani, the ultra-authoritarian, as my president. I'd sooner move to Canada. I'm enjoying watching him go down in flames. Feels real good. I only wish I could be a fly on the wall as he sobs at night to his latest bimbo wife.

Holy Crap!.........
[Read the article: This Modern World]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If that strip doesn't completely discredit Kristol and damn him to hell, then nothing will.
If hiring Kristol and doesn't completely discredit the NYT and damn it to hell, nothing will.

True dat
[Read the article: The witch ain't dead, and Chris Matthews is a ding-dong]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, Matthews does indeed have it in for the Clintons. Why?, I don't know. Clinton hatred has always been a mystery to me. And the hatred, and the mystery of it, are especially pronounced with Hillary (as opposed to Bill). The only response I ever get is that they are 'fake' and 'they try to have it both ways'. Really? moreso than anyone who has ever run for office? I'm not buying it. They both seem pretty solid, pretty genuine to me.
Matthews hatred for Hillary is a little bit creepy - some gender issue he has not quite worked out.
-
ENOUGH!!!!!
[Read the article: The race vs. gender war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There is no story here. And we've already heard the non-story a dozen times. The media is creating a controversy out of thin air. Do some real reporting on real issues at long last. Shame on you Kamiya. Shame on you Salon.

Digusted with Clinton & MSM
[Read the article: Is Obama getting "testy"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I used to be torn between Hillary and Barack - No more. I am so disgusted with the way the Clintons have attacked Obama that I will not even vote for her in the general election if she is the nominee. Is Karl Rove managing her campaign now, or what?
And I am as impressed with how Obama has remained above the fray (in spite of what the MSM say) as i am disgusted by Hillary's dirty tricks.
And I am disgusted (as always) at how the MSM has portrayed the whole situation - completely buying and then selling any spin that will foment controversy and boost ratings. Do they think somehow that they are being 'balanced' by suggesting that Obama is taking equal part in this embarrassing display of dirty politics, other than to be target? Shame on all of them and Kudos to Tim Grieve!!

meaningless results
[Read the article: What do evangelicals want?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It would be very heartening if these results were indicitive of the truth, but they are not. As The War Room says, 'an online poll might have to be taken with a grain of salt', but an online poll of evangelicals?!?!? Puh-lease.
Most real evangelicals don't even read let alone own computers, and the few that do only use them to surf child porn and gamble.
Nope, the real evangelicals are busy handling snakes and speaking in tongues. They'll get on the bus into town and vote republican when the preacher tells them to, but an online poll about politics? No how.

What do Evangelicals Want??
[Read the article: What do evangelicals want?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Answer: Crysta Meth and gay sex with prostitues, teenagers and strangers. Dont' beleive me? Just ask Haggert, Foley and Craig.

McCain Bad
[Read the article: Lieberman and McCain: Kissing cousins in Connecticut]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]McCain seems like a nice guy, a smart guy, and a non-partisan guy, but his postion on many issues - especially Iraq - shows a real lack of judgement.
Warning: Do not be wooed by his personality.
-
let's hope they don't
[Read the article: Will conservatives vote for John McCain?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]..........and there's good reason to believe they won't. The only thing that trumps a conservative's selfishness is their sense of vengeance. And because McCain is closer to their camp than Hillary or Obama, his snub of them is that much more hurtfull to them, and therefore their desire for vengeance is that much greater towards him than to the potential democratic candidates.
They would rather exact revenge on McCain than vote in their self interest.
Their hatefulness and their inability to compromise will be their undoing yet again, and they will exile themselves from public life, back into their rural hovels, as they've done throught most of our history. And won't it be grand.
Adios Muchachos!!!
