Being Logical

The Big Surprise--if rules were different, then things would be different!

The Bosnia Factor.

As a young male, I do want to point out that one of the things that has turned me off about Hillary has been her embellishments of her visit to Bosnia, an obvious attempt to make her record look better. She gives the impression (at least to me) that she believes that she is justified in making her experience/record look better because she is female, in order to be equally competitive against males (in this case, in defense issues).

Fire and hire new analysts.

One reason given by AIG and other experts to go ahead with the bonuses is that these analysts alone are uniquely qualified to understand the mess they've created and so they are the best suited to untangle it (the so called "best and brightest"). I beg to differ--for the hundreds of millions of dollars we're totally wasting on these guys, I am certain we can hire other more talented analysts who can figure it out, at a fraction of the cost.

Reality creep.

In this day and age of rising unemployment, layoffs and severe recession, it seems to me all these kids have not 'gotten the memo' to save $$ and seriously prepare for difficult times ahead. Spring break may be a rite of passage and surely FL needs the money at this time, but I sure hope these kids have pondered what's coming in their horizon and enjoy what may possibly be there last act of revelry.
