It's becoming clear that John Edwards is an ego maniac.
One book or books Obama has clearly not read involve scientific biblical scholarship. His religious views are very unintellectual.
Camille is always refreshing. She says often what is uncooth and politically incorrect. But she also is not infallible. Tim Russert's virtues were undoubtedly exaggerated but the rule is: de mortuis nil nisi bonum. I see no need to make fun of the funeral hoopla, NBC wanted to take good care of its own.
As for WASPS, it is time to give it up. They have little importance left and we miss their good points: politesse, common sense, good taste. I prefer them to screeching Italians and other Latins and sarcastic Jews.
