Obama's problem is not Wright. It is Michelle. She is the quintessential black bitch. Black women are angry that they have to support worthless black males from cradle to grave. They also have their own accomplishments negated by reference to affirmative action. Michelle is the one who made the association with Wright so close. She refused to repudiate him. Barack repudiates him only mildly. Thus it is Michelle who has made it certain that Barack and his quest for the White House are totally kaputt!

Here's Joan again praising Hillary. Joan never really left the radical feminist camp. Just watch her on tv. The pained feminist grimmace, the toothy half smile, the concealed anti-male nastiness.

Glad this issue was raised. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been sanctified so much it is hard to allow criticism of him. He was a rabble rouser like Wright. He did offend whites. And it is still not clear that his influence was all to the good. Most blacks, except for a small upper middle class which found ways to exploit the civil right movement, are no better off now, perhaps worse off, than before King. Many of them would be better off on the equivalent of pre-civil war plantations than they are in the slums of our big cities where they kill one another and anyone else getting in their way.

Hey, superdelegates! You had better get together and find a really good candidate to run vs. McCain. Obama is kaputt and Clinton was always a bad choice. You had better act soon or all will be lost and your party will again have grasped defeat from the jaws of certain victory.

Of course with every economic downturn the country thinks it is 1929 again. Our tolerance for a little pain is very low. It used to be under Eisenhower, for example, that downturns were understood as normal. But since then every slight contraction of the economy denounced as dangerous and 1929-like. Hell, if we can withstand 9/11 and the Iraq war and George W. Bush -- we can withstand a little economic pain.

The superdelegates and other democratic bigwigs had better get together and find an alternative to Clinton or Obama, neither of whom can win in Nov. They should get Dodd, Biden or in a pinch Gore to become the nominee. Otherwise, you'll say hello to President McCain.

It's the rich what gets the gravy, it's the poor what gets the blame.

The virtuous early Rome is a myth made up by Livy and Plutarch. Rousseau once remarked that Rome began to degenerate very early on, probably in the 4th century BC. As Pushkin remarked, those damned Jesuits have sold us a lot of nonsense.

Yes, every candidate has a Rev. Wright in his past. McCain has Bush, the worst ever president. Hillary has Bill, the worst ever husband and political surrogate.

But not all dangers are the same. McCain can manage Bush and Hillary knows how to manage Bill. But Barack seems insincere in his condemnations of Wright. Michelle Obama seems very reluctant to say anything against Wright. This will hurt them in Indiana and may end their presidential bid.

I am convinced McCain will be our next president. Neither Obama not Clinton have a prayer.

The comments of Obama and Michelle Obama sound like pulling teeth. They really don't like attacking Wright but have to for political reasons. All the more reason for regarding them as insincere and opportunistic. Not that Hillary is sincere and inopportunistic. But neither one generates much confidence. The next president will be John McCain.

If Hillary wants to do something about the racial divide she should:

1. give up the race for the nomination.

2. divorce Bill.

3. do penance.

4. retire to private life and leave us all alone.

Outside of orthodox Jews, there is no religious content in Judaism. Support of Israel is all there is. Which is funny because all the religions of the ancient world, Judaism, Roman and Greek religion,etc., were essentially religions of a national community. Judaism began as a national religion and with the re-establishment of Israel as a state has returned to this status. There is, I repeat, no religious content as we know it, in Judaism. That's why Jews feel compelled to support Israel despite its integral nationalism (a word which means 'on the way to fascism.')

Jews would do well either to get a religion that's really a religion or give it all up. Support of Israel is probably anti-American. But Irish Catholics have supported the IRA terrorists in Northern Ireland. Their religion had become entirely nationalist. So Jews are not the only ones.

Anyone who takes Peggy Noonan seriously is a fool.

Well, perhaps you could learn something from him. Like not having the choice be between a lying witch who could never be elected and a black man who could never be elected. I am sure Rove would have found an alternative.

There is nobody on the Fox network more obnoxious than Bill Kristol, a Likudnik right out of central casting. You don't have to be an anti-semite to hate his guts!

Wright and the black churches can pursue their version of paranoid religion, plenty of white redneck preachers do the same. But it Obama thinks he will get to the White House without a thorough break with Wright and the whole black church syndrome he is very much mistaken. McCain will bury him.
