Unfair

I think Bush should be impeached and (though probably not possible) jailed for getting us into the Iraq War. I think he's the worst present in generations. However, can we just assume that, though he got us into this war, he and the White House staff can be allowed to celebrate Christmas with the pomp that Presidents normally do? Do we (liberals opposed to the war) really have to try to argue that Bush should be eating army rations as penance. Does this not make us look foolish? Also, relatedly, can we just agree that since Bush cannot make his daughters serve in the Army, that the fact that they do not wish to does not impunge him? It is this sort of argument that makes many moderates/independents think liberals are foolish.

Good idea

Yes, every time an administration official makes a joke, we should post the current death toll of this unfortunate and ill-advised war. That will certainly convince others of our (liberal) rationality.

Heather Havrilesky is an idiot

I'm not sure why I read this column as her opinions are asinine. She loves crap and hates quality. Luckily, I won't have to read her crap any longer, as this ridiculous column has solidified the thought that she is an idiot. Getting woken up in the middle of the night, and have your face buried in the carpet while bullies watch and laugh, knowing your humiliation will be broadcast on national tv. No, that's not a big deal at all. Fool.

This is not unusual for the War Room

No one should be suprised at this silly little blurb, Mr. Grieve constantly fills the War Room with unimportant, nitpicky accusations against politicians that sound damning, but are of little consequence or meaning. Readers should expect it and dismiss it. He is petty. And, if you deem it important, I am a self-described liberal who has never voted Republican and reads the War Room daily. I simply don't find it helpful to dwell on this dumb little things.

I once heard ...

I once heard Michael Savage play a clip of democrats raising their voices, and then playing a clip from "Mommy Dearest," where Joan Crawford screams, "No more wire hangers!" He would play Hillary Clinton sort of not even shouting, and then the Crawford scream, and did that with a couple of other Democrats, maybe Kerry. His intent was to make it seem like these Democrats were crazy angry just like Joan Crawford. It was really stupid and didn't really work.

This latest post from Mr. Grieve made me think of that. Just as stupid. Just as ineffective.

You change the meaning by changing the words

Obama did not say "whatever it is, IT looks good in them," so your hypothetical creates added controversy by hypothetically having Clinton say "they look good." If Obama said IT looks good in them that would be treated as quite a story!

You need to calm down

No one seriously thinks they can compete in Olympic events absent total and complete dedication. Relax. You're special.
