[Read the article: Was Hillary channeling George Wallace?]

Harry Truman said "I told the truth and they thought it was hell". Did anyone expect that a black candidate for President would not invoke talk about race?

Yes, Barack is a Black Candidate! Michelle would be a Black First Lady! Face it.

The fact that it is open for discussion is good ,not bad.

It has been Barack'S campaign that has turned it into a dirty word. Thanks to David and Jesse.

We are a multi-racial society, but that doesn't mean we view everyone the same.

Barack's associations, connections and voting records are fair game. Just as are Hilliary's and McCain.

The liberal media has done a great job in helping bring an attractive black candidate to national stature.

So far his campaign has been a bunch of (same) inspiring speeches and free rock concerts. He, his race, his issues and his perception by the American public should be explored.

STOP THIS RACIAL PANDERING YOUR READERS DESERVE BETTER THAN THAT.

  • race---and the race for Ohio

[Read the article: Race -- and the race for Ohio]

ISN'T IT POSSIBLE THAT OBAMA IS THE WRONG BLACK CANDIDATE? LOFTY SPEECHES , FREE ROCK CONCERTS, LACK OF SPECIFICS, TOO MUCH USE OF THE RACE CARD, POOR VETTING OF QUESTIONABLE CONNECTIONS,LACK OF EXPERIENCE, LACK OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS? HE BECAME THE CANDIDATE BECAUSE OF HIS RACE, NOT IN SPITE OF IT.

HAROLD FORD LOST BECAUSE OF RACE. HE WAS THE BETTER CANDIDATE.

  • figures don't lie

[Read the article: John McCain: "The fundamentals of our economy are strong"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

assets of USA $70 Trillion Liabilities of USA $14 Trillion- not broke yet.

Fundamentals of US Economy are sound, we need to get back to them.

Our financial system is broken because of repeal of Glass-Stegall in 1999. It needs to be re not over regulated.

Blame both parties, but expect both parties to put aside partisanship and work for the whole.

Obama seems to want to discourage Americans , McCain wants to encourage them. To get back on track the latter works.
