@ BRIAN

Hilarious!! The movie theatres showing the McCain 'short'

will all heavily advertise "AIR CONDITIONED" out front.

(I've been watching the Salon blogs for a year and finally

felt compelled to comment after your LOL remark)

@ xrandudu hutman in re geosyme

Here 's another newbie. The posts of these first timers tend to be remarkably (?) the same. Isn't that a strange coincidence? FYI this is my second. However I've become a huge fan of the Hutman comments which are invariably well planned, to the point and humorous.

@xrandadu hutman : here's tonigrace!

Let's welcome tonigrace, an admitted first-timer who produces five paragraphs of effusive admiration for Joan and the Clintons and their policies.

She watched MSNBC faithfully but "I have become increasingly

disillusioned by their bias. I now consider Joe Scarborough

the only fair host on MSNBC."

'Nuff said.

Original article: A Scott McClellan flashback

xrandadu ..I traced you

from the "Clinton Bashing" thread where I too saw dozens and dozens of first-time posts. All had in common effusive compliments on Joan's "Wonderful appearance" and her grit in

"standing up to those guys on MNBC!"

Also, several of them mention Taylor Marsh whose home page shows her to be a Hillary worshiper, and also that she's pretty

toxic about Obama. This, added to what others have posted to you

involving her, indicates that she's a really nefarious character.

Incidentally she has a huge poster up calling for a huge turn-

out at the Wardman Park Hotel in DC on Saturday from 7:00AM to

4:00 PM to rally for HRC at the DNC rules committee rally.

Just thought you'd be interested.

@ Rufus11

Thanks from a long time admirer; you have made this and

many other threads endurable.

But, do you type with your toes? Don't ever change though,

you are tops!!

Hillary's Splendid Speech

more than atoned for the transgressions of the primary months.

Now, if Bill can recapture my heart Wednesday night, I'll be

one HAPPY Democrat!!

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 11:27 AM

@aveutter 7:33 MSNBC should not be trusted...

I also couldn't figure out the cameras obsession with Bill

Clintons casual conversation with the red head woman on his

right, but I was starting to get the idea."

She was the widow of murdered Arkansas Democratic chairman

Bill Gwaltney who was slain last week.

Is that the 'idea' you were getting?

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 07:08 PM

Bill's back

and bountiful with praise and admiration for Obama!! He was

generous and nonstinting with multiple statements of Barack's

superiority in wisdom and leadership. It was a great tribute!

I peeked at Faux and was stunned to see Rove lavishing

unqualified praise on Clinton's speech; he really was im-

pressed. Amazing!

@jebldmm

The speeches given by Bill and Hill were atonement enough;

let's not keep going back to primary rage.

Just drop it and don't wallow in it.

Poor Sleeping Spokesman

You'd better wake up; your comments on the GOP next week will

have to improve a lot or you'll be out of a job!

Robo Calls

Some states, notably Pennsylvania and Ohio are reportedly

getting a high volume of calls telling Obama supporters

that their voting day is Wednesday, Nov. 4th !

The Election Protection Hot Line is: 1 866 OUR VOTE !

They are already getting many calls from confused and

anxious voters. They have all the facts for every state.

Virtue 101

You quote Paglia:

"As for the Democrats who sneered and howled

that Palin was unprepared to be a vice-pres-

idential nominee -- what navel gazing hypocracy!"

You state;

"THAT'S journalism, Joan. THAT'S journalism.

No,that's wordy,sensationalist, overwritten hyperbole---

"THAT'S trash, Virtue, THAT'S trash!"

@ Groanhagen in re Horseface

Are you aware that your entire posting is irrational and

invalid with its sheaves of useless, cherrypicked references?

It is deeply insulting, not only to Ms.Walsh, but to us,the

readers, who have to wipe their feet after slogging through

your filth!!! Please crawl away.

Original article: My year in politics

Dear Joan, At Last

I will permit myself the privilege of posting;

I have read through all 21 preceding pages.

You have taken us all this year on a mostly enjoyable

election campaign ride! As a 2004 Obama supporter,I

found some of Hillary's behavior, and your defense of

her, annoying, but you and she sure came around!

Thank you for the fine journalism and the remarkable

response it has elicited; some wise, some hilarious,

and some foot-stampingly irritating. A wild ride!

OOOPS

I was unsure if it was one or two 'l's and found it was

two when I checked Page A 10 of the NYT, Mon. Dec.29.

Hence 'Hillary' I thought the Gray Lady was infallible!

Ahhhhhmen!

That's a BIG sigh of relief. The United States will do

the honorable thing. We can hold our heads up high again!

Brilliant!

What a captivating review!! It really scintillates with the

magical atmosphere which this sixth Harry Potter film must

evidently possess.Thank you, Stephanie Zacharek, for a magical

read.

@ steel the first

You say,"I hope more Townhhall meetings are shouted down.I hope people start bringing eggs and rotten fruit to throw at their Congressmen and Congressmen...etc,etc,etc."

Please spare us your unbelievable diatribes and invective.

You have crawled and snarled on at great length in at least three places on this thread, leaving your slimy trail, enlightening no one and disgusting all.

Your strident words and obscene comments have no place in this

discussion. Why not join Fox?
