Walking And Talking Like a Duck
[Read the article: Fred Thompson: Rush is right]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Doesn't necessarily mean you're a viable presidential candidate. Any boob can function as a soulless echo chamber, just watch 5 minutes of Tucker Carlson to understand what I mean by this. But because of Thompson's casual hypocrisy in this utterly overblown sideshow lays bare the fact that he's not mentally invested in making this country a better place. He does not ask others to let him guide them through these bleak times with his indelible presidential-like leadership, he does not rise above the base pandering fray the way a true leader would. Instead, we're given mealy and utterly worthless sound bites whose sole intention is to provide his "campaign" another blip in the daily Media cycle.
Let's put it this way. If he didn't follow the daily RNC talking point of the day, would we even be talking about this pretender? Would there be any outrage for those who care to be bothered by this?

Must be following ABC's Lead
[Read the article: They don't call them "unscientific" surveys for nothing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When they took down an almost identical poll for who won their hosted Dem debate. Kucinich was easily voted the winner in that poll but ABC took it down once they saw the candidate they didn't like winning handily and then re-posted it...Only for Kucinich supporters to vote for him again! ABC didn't offer an explanation as to why though as CNBC did. To ABC, you'd never know Kucinich participated in the debate, much less appeared on stage. It's all such a spoon-fed sham, maybe in the future we'll learn of on-the-fly debate editing designed to permanently eliminate those pesky candidates the networks don't anoint.

How Many Japanese Were Tortured Following Pearl Harbor?
[Read the article: Is waterboarding more like swimming or eating rice pilaf?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Internment camps didn't mean we smashed their genitals with hammers or made them feel like drowning. The camps were shameful enough, but at least we didn't resort to torturing the "high value detainees" there.
I'm not really able to type much more since I'm getting whiplash from shaking my head so much over how morally depraved our government has become.
