no one joins the Dutch prostitutes "union"

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I lived in Amsterdam for six years. Legalized prostitution there is a joke. The first poster above is misinformed. Less than 5% of A'dam's prostitutes join the "union." Nobody wants to go down on paper as a prostitute, not even to get "benefits."
Over 80% of A'dam prostitutes are from Third World countries, almost assuredly trafficked into the city against their will. Walk the "Wallen" (the Red Light District) and you will be hard-pressed to find a Dutch woman. In fact the only white girls you will see are those trafficked from Eastern Europe.
One reason the Dutch are turning right-wing is this legalization of prostitution (the other reason is that Rotterdam, the country's 2nd-biggest city, is now half Muslim). It has been an unmitigated disaster and the experiment will surely soon end.

At best you have merely impregnated women, who may or may not even carry those pregnancies to term. Your DNA hasn't really "survived" until your children have reached reproductive age. How does fucking a woman and moving on to fuck the next woman ensure that your children will reach reproductive age?
It takes a lot more than impregnation to ensure the survival or your DNA. It takes years and years of raising the children to adulthood. Let's be honest, fucking and running is a sex strategy, not a reproductive strategy.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I married a foreigner I loved so he could get a green card so we could live together. I would not have married him if we could have just lived together, but because he was not an American I decided to marry him to get him into the country.
A few years later, our marriage was a hollowed-out version of its former self. We were no longer sleeping together, no longer communicating. Should I have gone to the INS at that point and told them to revoke my husband's green card because we no longer had a "real" marriage?
Most of the folks I know who are still married are in it for the money. Many long married couples no longer have sex (with each other), some no longer speak, but they may continue to co-habit and pool their finances because it's just too damn expensive and bothersome to split up. Are these sham marriages? Do we need to police everyone's sex lives to make sure they're not faking a "real" marriage?
I say remove all the tax and other advantages to marriage and therefore the incentives for lying. Have a normal immigration policy that doesn't depend on policing people's sex lives. Otherwise, it seems to me there is no difference between someone who marries a foreigner for money and someone who stays in a sexless, loveless marriage for money. -

[Read more letters about this article: Here]That was 26 years ago...my dad was dead and I had never (and have still never) had a serious heart-to-heart conversation with my cold, narcissistic mother. I had no older siblings or cousins. My dear aunt (my mother's younger sister) was unjudgmental and caring. She stayed with me during the procedure and then brought me to a friend of her's house to recuperate. My mother never found out.
I cannot imagine what I would have done without her. I guess I would have taken myself to the abortion clinic, and driven myself home? (I don't even think they allowed this...) I certainly was not going to have a baby--in college, with a boyfriend who didn't want it, broke--so I would have found a way, but it would not have been a good way...
By the way I got pregnant while using a diaphraghm...I had had to go off the pill a few months prior due to a cyst in my breast the doctors thought might be pill-related (turned out it wasn't). I was not being irresponsible; my reliable birth control was off limits and my backup method failed.
To this day I love my aunt for many reasons but perhaps especially for being there for me on that particular day. To think that she would now be considered a criminal, well I just can't believe it. She was a savior.

Yes, modern western life is devoid of love and caring. That's a result of GREED, people, not lack of adherence to ridiculous 2000-year-old standards of sexual morality. It's GREED that has ruined America, not birth control.
The women are especially pathetic. "Choice" feminism, my ass. You can't choose to be a slave, you're coerced into it because you're made to feel you have no other options.

She was a groupie, a real air-headed one, and we all thought she was a major ditz. That was over 25 years ago and I think that 18-year-old airhead is now just a forty-something airhead with WAY too much money and a scary level of insecurity.
