Funny how Bush never bothered to single out Jon Stewart. Or the Air America folks. Or any political commentators/entertainers at all. Strangely, he just never bothered to tell Americans who or who not to listen to. The difference, I guess, is that he knew that kind of thing was well below presidential decorum. And, oh yeah, he had class.
What a loathsome circus this administration is shaping up to be with all this slime Limbaugh nonsense -- not to mention the morally bankrupt lapdogs in the media (like Joan here at Salon), who lower the bar to the most feculent level day after day to do the bidding of white House stategists.
Does anyone in the White House care about the fact that the Stock Market has lost half its value -- and that millions of seniors have lost their life savings? No, sadly, Obama has told us he doesn't follow the market. I guess he's too busy directing his staff to target Rush Limbaugh instead. How pathetic. But what else is new?
Oh well, the truth often hurts. Cheers!
Why yes, of course, don't you?
You really made your point. And really backed it up with facts. Unfortunately, Joan has never let the facts get in her way. BTW, I really didn't mean to diminish Joan when I called her "Joanie." You see, my wife's name is Joan and I always call her Joanie, so it comes quite naturally. I thought perhaps since I've been posting here for over two years now, that it might be okay to loosen up a bit. But I was wrong. Apparently, as you so aptly pointed out in your Palin examples, it's okay for Joan to call John McCain "an ass"or George Bush "an asshole cowboy," but it's NOT okay to call Joan any name at all. Because when you do, she either plays the victim card or deletes your post. Kind of sad that she's that insecure, don't you think?
