@Fladad -- You're right, Salon is just an arm of the Democratic Party, jumping on the "Destroy Rush" campaign. Read all about it at Politico.

Extra, extra -- read all about how the new Democratic slime machine is conducting it's new Democratic slime campaign today at Politico. The article is called -- "Rush Job: Inside Dems' Limbaugh plan"

Just go to: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/19596_Page2.html

Hey, Joanie, good to see you're still the transparent partisan hack you've always been -- getting paid now more than ever to spout the party line from those whose feet you grovel at.

I could point to so many mean-spirited ad hominem remarks in this post, Joanie, but it's really the outright lies that gall me. For instance, your statement: ""Facts are facts: He (Limbaugh) was... hopped-up (at CPAC)."

My God, have you NO shame? Have you no decency? NONE? Are you actually claiming to know for a fact that Limbaugh was hopped up on drugs at CPAC? Did he call you and tell you this or did you draw blood from him yourself and do your own personal drug test? What slander. What slime. And here I thought this was Obama's Age of Responsibility. I guess you didn't get the memo, Joanie. This kind of hackneyed, irresponsible "journalism," is supposed to be unacceptable these days. And yet you continue. Didn't your parents raise you any better than this?

@DaveL - Parse, parse parse the phrase "Hopped-up" all you want.

And then let's argue over what the meaning of the word is... is.

Funny how President Bush never singled out anyone on Air America...

...and called on Americans not to listen to that person. Actually, he never did that to anyone in the political commentary arena. The difference, I guess, is that he knew that kind of thing was well below presidential decorum. And, oh yeah, he had class.

What a loathsome circus this administration is shaping up to be -- not to mention the morally bankrupt lapdogs in the media (like Joanie at Salon), who lower the bar to the most feculent level day after day to do the bidding of white House stategists.

@Klytus -- Ah, yes, how predictable.

When you've got nothing, let the insults roll. Nice.

@ Poco -- Excellent post!

Let the truth be told!

Wednesday, March 4, 2009 03:37 PM

@Poco - You rock!

Obama called out a private American citizen and media lapdogs like Joan are jumping on the bandwagon to do the bidding of the White House -- like the true zombotic obamatrons they are. Read Politco's take on all this pathetic thing Joan passes of as "journalism" today in the Politico article titled, "Rush Job: Inside Dems' Limbaugh plan" Go to:http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/19596.html

@Joan -- "School 'em, Klytus" -- Yeah, as if! Sorry, Joanie, but I'm laughing so hard, Mountain Dew just shot out of my nose!

OMG, THAT is just SO hysterical! Maybe after "Klytus" wakes up from his unmade bed in his mother's basement, he can take a gargantuan hit from his bong and "school us" all -- as you say, Joanie. Yes, Joanie, please, marshal all your "troops" to do the White House's bidding. Your zombotic Obamatons are ready to target an American citizen like obedient dogs -- just as your Messiah has instructed you to tell them to do.

Funny how President Bush never singled out anyone on Air America and called on Americans not to listen to that person. Actually, he never did that to anyone in the political commentary arena. You are just SO utterly pathetic, Joan. But what else is new?

Obama -- "The time has come to set aside childish things"

Like targeting private citizens and sliming them, to distract from more important things. Like the fact that the stocket market has lost half its value. This is change we can believe in? Sadly, not. Obama is just the same old brand of politician we're used to. With the same old brand of henchmen we're used to. Pathetic.

It will never happen, Joanie, because Obama doesn't want it to.

The truth be told, closing Guantanamo (which won't happen within a year as promised) and a perfunctory statement against torture to satisfy his base only amounts to window dressing. Like it or not, Obama is following the same fundamental "behind the scenes" policies as Bush did. Just ask your pal Greenwald.

@Poco -- I too responded to the "School 'em, Klytus" remark yesterday.

At first I found it such a wildly stupid directive that I nearly fell off my chair laughing. But then I thought it was simply a sad reflection of just how far Joan and Salon have sunk into the ever-expanding media cesspool.

@Patrick McEvoy-Halston -- "(Joan) Comes pretty close backing someone off through shame/humiliation"

I agree wholeheartedly, Patrick. Joan never should have talked down to Poco like that. She really needs to brush up on her people skills. And she's so sensitive about what I call HER. Jeeze, I even call my wife Joanie and she doesn't think it sounds like it's coming from a twelve-year-old -- as Joan says she does. Yep, Joan sure can dish it out -- calling Bush an "asshole cowboy" just recently, for instance. But she sure can't take it, can she? But what else is new.

Thursday, March 5, 2009 11:29 AM

@Poco -- Well, said. It was wrong for Joan to assume you were a Republican just because you disagreed with her.

But that's what she does. In fact, she's always making wild, disconnected leaps in her logic -- usually in a pathetic attempt to bolster her point of view. And she never lets facts get in the way. That's why her brand of "journalism" is so irresponsible. And remember, it's all right for her to call people names, but you are never allowed to call her any names, no matter how innocuous. That's life on Joan's blog. But what else is new?
