Actually, you miss the point completely.
Because the point of the article was that the MSM is so far in the tank for Obama, that none of Biden's gaffes were given any serious attention. Thus, the article began, "If Sarah Palin had made just one of the wildly inaccurate statements smugly uttered by Sen. Joe Biden in last week's vice presidential debate, there would have been 3-inch headlines in newspapers across America."
Which means if the MSM had done due diligence and jumped all over his "wildly inaccurate statements" as they should have, the average American would have seen the debate much differently.
The fact that to the AVERAGE voter, Biden's performance was successful isn't the issue here. The issue is why.
What is your source for claiming Joe the Plumber is "an apparently wealthy Toledo businessman, Joan?"
Apparenty, you're a full-fleged tin-foil-hat moonbat, my friend. Joe the plumber is NOT related to Robert Wurzelbacher. Nor does Joe the Plumber own several businesses that, according to state records, have tax liens against them. Obviously you've been drinking the kool-aid over at Daily Kos. This "breaking" Kos story is about as true as their last "big" story that claimed Sarah Palin was faking her pregnancy to cover for her daughter.
My God, they're so rabid over there.
BTW, Joe the plumber in not from Toledo. He's from a very middle-class neighborhood in Holland, Ohio. And, yes, he's registered to vote.
I'm sure you'll be apologizing for slandering him when you finally realize you got it wrong.
But I'll be watching for your "huge" story to break in the MSM. I'm sure I'll be seeing it all over the air waves any minute now. I guess the MSM just doesn't have the same incredible sources you do.
What is your source for claiming Joe the Plumber is "an apparently wealthy Toledo businessman, Joan?"
Anyone think Keith Olbermann or Chris I-felt-this-thrill-going-up-my-leg Matthews will be reporting on this tonight?

SCRANTON – The agent in charge of the Secret Service field office in Scranton said allegations that someone yelled “kill him” when presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s name was mentioned during Tuesday’s Sarah Palin rally are unfounded.
The Scranton Times-Tribune first reported the alleged incident on its Web site Tuesday and then again in its print edition Wednesday. The first story, written by reporter David Singleton, appeared with allegations that while congressional candidate Chris Hackett was addressing the crowd and mentioned Obama’s name a man in the audience shouted “kill him."
News organizations including ABC, The Associated Press, The Washington Monthly and MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann reported the claim, with most attributing the allegations to the Times-Tribune story.
Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment.
“I was baffled,” he said after reading the report in Wednesday’s Times-Tribune.
He said the agency conducted an investigation Wednesday, after seeing the story, and could not find one person to corroborate the allegation other than Singleton.
Slavoski said more than 20 non-security agents were interviewed Wednesday, from news media to ordinary citizens in attendance at the rally for the Republican vice presidential candidate held at the Riverfront Sports Complex. He said Singleton was the only one to say he heard someone yell “kill him.”
“We have yet to find someone to back up the story,” Slavoski said. “We had people all over and we have yet to find anyone who said they heard it.”
Hackett said he did not hear the remark.
Slavoski said Singleton was interviewed Wednesday and stood by his story but couldn’t give a description of the man because he didn’t see him he only heard him.
When contacted Wednesday afternoon, Singleton referred questions to Times-Tribune Metro Editor Jeff Sonderman. Sonderman said, “We stand by the story. The facts reported are true and that’s really all there is.”
Slavoski said the agents take such threats or comments seriously and immediately opened an investigation but after due diligence “as far as we’re concerned it’s closed unless someone comes forward.” He urged anyone with knowledge of the alleged incident to call him at 346-5781. “We’ll run at all leads,” he said.
"...if I read from a reputable source that anything I said about your beloved Joe is anything other than I said he is, I will apologize immediately."
What "reputable source" are you basing your current statements on? Is it the "records" about someone named WURZELBACHER, SAMUEL J posted at Daily Kos a few hours ago? Oh, that's right, you said you NEVER read Kos. I forgot. So then what "reputable source" have you been basing your statements about Joe (not Samuel) Wurzelbacher on?
BYW, you don't need to be a plumber to buy a plumbing business any more than you have to be a chef to buy a restaurant.
PS: Trust me, I'm really not getting "all red in the face" about Joe. I actually find it amusing to watch folks like yourself try to squirm out of false stories they've embraced only because they'd like to believe they were true.
"Martin Eisenstat" -- your precious "conservative" -- from "The Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy" -- the man you call your "source" -- is nothing but a hoax. He's also been known as M. Thomas Eisenstadt and Michael Eisenstad. Martin is his latest incarnation.

for the entire let down.
Care to apologize yet?
The New York Times story is 3 quick paragraphs, and the most scandalous thing it reports is is that Joe Wurzelbacher "may run a plumbing business but he is not a licensed plumber. His full name is Samuel J. Wurzelbacher. And he owes a bit in back taxes."
WOW! What a scoop!
