Don't have the stomach to write about yesterday's primary results, Joan?
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Pardon me, Joan, but wouldn't it be more appropriate to write about the results of yesterday's NC/Indiana primaries instead of this "Brazile-Begala Smackdown" twaddle? I mean, something rather important transpired yesterday. Has it left you in denial? Has it left you under the bed sheets in the fetal position?
You see, Obama now leads Hillary by 700,000 in the popular vote, "obliterating" any gains she made in Pennsylvania. In fact, his margin of victory (more than 230,000) was even larger than the amount Hillary won Pennsylvania by (about 215,000).
So much for Hillary's popular vote argument.
And in Indiana, Hillary's slither of a lead netted her a paltry 18,444 votes -- possibly the thin margin Republican mischief was able to muster behind Rush Limbaugh's Operation Chaos.
In addition, since the Pennsylvania primary two weeks ago, Clinton has picked up 11.5 superdelegate endorsements to Obama's 22, according to an Associated Press count.
Oh, and did I mention that Hillary is not just out of money, but very much in debt?
See a trend here, Joan? One worth writing about? Perhaps, once you're feeling yourself again, you could craft an article called, "Hillary is Toast."
As I wrote to you back on April 26th, "...after the North Carolina and Indiana primaries on May 6th, your beloved Hillary will begin her final downward spiral, greased by her own lies, racism and duplicity. It will be delicious."
And so it is.

@ Rambling Rose 22 -- Gosh, Rosie...
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]you're sounding awfully perimenopausal today. Could yesterday's primary results have something to do with it? Could it be that you're finally realizing the Hildabeast is toast? You can still send her money, you know. She just lent herself 6.5 million more to plod on. But she and Bill still have about 100 million in their joint account, so not to worry. So join the club and send her more money. Lots more. She's just soooooooooo great for the party!

Obama's VP...
[Read the article: Obama gracious in N.C. victory]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]will NOT be the Hildabeast. Obama's VP will be Bill Richardson.
-
@ dataguyx -- Obama will get the Hispanic vote...
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]because Bill Richardson will be his VP, NOT the Hildebeast.

Now Joan calls those who disagree with her "GOP trolls posing as Obama supporters"
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Ah, yes... the vast right wing conspiracy strikes again. Hmmm... who was it that coined that expression anyway? Oh, gosh, wasn't it her favorite gal -- dear, sweet Hillary? What a coincidence!
By the way, Joan, in a letter to the editor in The Washington Times, you wrote that Salon "is a news organization, not a left-wing advocacy group." Well, if that’s true, why wouldn’t you welcome diverse opinions – even from people with (gulp) a GOP ideology? Or is it simply easier to label them as “Trolls.” Jeeze, that's rather “elitist” of you, don't you think? I certainly do. Especially after telling Jon Friedman at MarketWatch, “I don't apologize for trying to reach a wider audience," and then going on to stress that Salon is moving beyond simply targeting "ideologically-committed" readers. So wouldn't that target therefore include people with a "GOP” ideology -- if they really ARE lurking in the shadows here at Salon. Why wouldn't you simply welcome them in the spirit of lively, respectful debate. Isn't that what you were saying -- albeit implicitly -- when you spoke to Jon Friedman?
But maybe it’s not “GOP trolls” or "Obamatons" you really despise, Joan -- maybe it's just men in general. I mean, how many articles can a girl write about sexism? It seems like that theme springs from your DNA itself. In fact, I seem to recall an article you wrote going all the way back to March 31, 2007, called "Men who hate women on the Web." And you counted yourself self among them.
Golly, Joan, isn't it just possible that all the negative letters you get from GOP trolls and Obamatons and sexist men are simple a response to your shoddy, biased journalism? Because, frankly, Joan, your "writing" of late has become an "obamanation" -- pun very much intended.

@ rufus11 -- What's a newman?
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What is this "newman" you speak of? You mean Newman from Seinfeld? And what's a "yrou"? And what are "republcain sabotuers"? And what's "Dive and conquer"? I thought it was "Divide and conquer." And what's "complian" mean? Gosh, all these new words. And I thought I had a good vocabulary. Live and learn.

@ rufus11 -- Who said I was a Republican?
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Jeeze, lighten up for once. You'll live longer.

@ Carol Richards: "to Joan, us, and all the nation...and WORLD"
[Read the article: McCain campaign baits Obama on Clinton slurs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My God, I just read your lengthy, didactic, Joan-Walsh-suck-up post on the "Brazille-Begala Smackdown" thread. Could you possibly be more of a goody two shoes? You're Joan's little droid and she adores you -- we get it already.
PS: You're "sarcasm" is barely recognizable as such.
