You are just so wrong on so many levels, Joan. Here are just a few:

Hillary: "I will take the President at his word that he will try hard to pass a UN resolution and will seek to avoid war, if at all possible."

Joan: "Here's the thing: Many of us – a small but not silent majority – knew enough not to take the president at his word."

Sorry, Joan, but Bush DID keep to his word to try hard to pass a UN resolution AFTER Hillary voted in favor of giving him the right to go to war. So, unfortunately for your dear little Hillary, he did not let her down, even a little, in that regard.

Joan: "Many of us – a small but not silent majority – knew enough not to take the president at his word. Many of us knew he was determined to go to war, alone if necessary."

Oh, I see, Joan, you must be part of an elite club of clairvoyants, who, if only Hillary would listen to, you could help her in her quest to be coronated. After all, it IS her birthright.

Hillary also said the following on Oct 10, 2002: "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

Joan: "Whoever sold her on that idea must have been… a man."

Right, Joan, it just COULDN'T have been Hillary herself, now could it? Let's blame a man instead. Let's not even blame your dear little Hillary for accepting that advice. Why yes, Joan, certainly you MUST be right -- It's the men! It's the men! Wah! Wah! Wah! Play that gender card whenever you can, Joan! It's no wonder you're such a loyal Hillary lapdog.

Joan's McCarthy tactics -- Guilt by Association

Joan -- "It's been hard to believe Obama was unfamiliar with Wright's overall harsh and sometimes paranoid political analysis."

This "Guilt by Association" tactic has become a cornerstone of Joan's "journalistic excellence" over the years. If you travel back into her archives to 10/23/07, you'll find a story entitled "A Very Familiar Story about Rudy" in which she smears Giuliani, simply for knowing Monsignor Alan Placa as a childhood friend and later in business. Placa was once accused of child molestation, but never convicted. But the time she finishes this hachet job, you'd think Giuliani is the pervert.

Nice job, Joan. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

@ dennisdean -- "You've still got Huffington Post, DailyKos"

Funny you should mention DailyKos. Because they're having a fracturous time over there. It seems the writers who were doing articles in support of Hillary have been so savaged by reader comments that they have actually gone "on strike" to draw attention to the vitriol they've been drawing.

What I find so interesting about all this is that it may very well be a harbinger of where the Democratic Party itself is heading. Because if Hillary somehow steals this nomination from Obama, the backlash will be brutal. Obama supporters will NOT vote for Hillary in the general election. They'll either stay home or vote for McCain in protest. But whether Hillary tries to steal the nomination or not, the longer she stays in the race, the more divisive the party becomes -- and the more likely it is that we're headed for some sort of party implosion.

@ ljwalker53 -- "Gotta love Obama followers' math..."

Actually, I gotta love YOUR math. Because it completely ignores the reality of the situation and adds up convenient but inconsequential phraseology instead. In the end, the answer you derive from your simple-minded "equations" is a nothing more than naiveté.

For a heavy dose of reality, go to Slate's Delegate Calculator at:

Your Hildabeast cannot win, she can only destroy the party.

You'll be pulling the lever for Obama in November, once you get past the sad delusional state of denial you're in.

Michigan revote donors linked to Clinton. Gee, what a surprise.

Want a good whiff of the Billary machine in action. Read this, excerpt from today's USA Today:

WASHINGTON — Ten wealthy Democrats have offered to pay for a new presidential primary in Michigan — all with ties to Hillary Rodham Clinton, who showed up in the state Wednesday seeking a revote.

Five of the donors are listed on Clinton's campaign website as among her major fundraisers. All 10 have contributed to Clinton's presidential or Senate campaigns or the races run by former president Bill Clinton, according to federal data compiled by the non-profit Center for Responsive Politics.

The Michigan revote donors — including New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos and financier Roger Altman — have offered to put up $12 million to pay for a new election in June.
