Subjects of media coverage should get exactly the kind of press that their actions deserve, no more, no less. One must do something intelligent, noble, or beneficial to get positive treatment.
It's not as if McCain is being treated unfairly, or that the media is leading public opinion in favor of Obama, because McCain's own actions have been hairbrained, rash, uncivil, and negative.
It's not as if Hitler gets a bad rap because of an anti-Aryan bias in the MSM...
As soon as I saw a story about the intrasquad feuding, I laughed with little surprise. It has been noted how opportunistic and ambitious she is, at the expense of loyalty, and regardless of qualifications.
Here's the thing about this so-called 'average American woman': When I think of the average woman - my mom for example - I don't think of someone with such acid tongue for any particular political ideology. Rather, I picture an American who just wants things to start working better, regardless of who has to compromise or work together to get it done. Palin fails because she never gives that air.
She's gotta be concerned about basketball recruiting at least...
Epic: At least NBC's 'Today Show' asked tough questions of their own "talent."
Brutal: Sad when 'Today Show' and 'The View' are the most trustworthy sources of network journalism.
"JON", not "JOSEPH"
Ebert not exactly 'skewing young', but still a good retort nonetheless.
Here's one from Coburn: "You've got lots of 'splainin' to do" (Ricky Ricardo).
