Cinematic

I swear there is some grand post-apocalyptic, perhaps Bollywood, Sci-Fi movie Here...

In a Near East populated by millions upon millions of young, horny, desperate Indian Men working as Debt Collectors by Day and trolling the streets of Mumbai by night looking for any available piece of tail to vigorous roger.

Brings a whole new meaning to two men enter, one man leaves...

Get me Michael Bay on the Phone!

Yawn...

Are the Alito Hearings and the Deomcrates rather lackluster display so worthless that Salon has slumped to exposing literary fraud whether they happen to be fake trannies or fake cokeheads?

If the 20th Century Taught us Anything...

It taught us that colonies fail in the end. For all the good intentions Israel is really nothing more than the last European colony permitted to exist in the modern world.

Unfortunately, Israel well eventually suffer the same fate as Indochina or French North Africa.

Modest Proposal

If this the the way judical nominees are confirmed can we changed the Advise and Consent Clause in the Constitution to the Bend-Over and Rubber Stamp Clause?

There really is no point to even having a confirmation proccess if anyone can be confirmed as long as they aren't a Two-Headed Lottery Comissioner who still uses the Term Negro and grills fetuses for lunch...

Irony: Histories Greatest Hits Collection

Any find it ironic that Israel and its mostly Jewish population are turning large swathes of land into sealed off Ghettos were the residents are regular shelled, shot at, and killed?

To Rob H.

Have Jews and Israelis somehow cornered the market on cultural suffering, marginalization, and genocide? So no one that suffers under the oppression of a government today can ever compare their experience to the "Jewish" experience in World War II because the Jewish Experience is so much worse?

The Holocaust was the low point in Human History. But geoncide is not exclusive to Jews. It wasn't in the 1940s when thousands of Non-Jews were sent to the same gas chambers, and it isn't today when you look at Rwanda, or Bosnia and Macedonia. Or the West Bank and Gaza strip where millions of people are basically being locked away in a Ghetto to rot.

I doubt their is a plot to deal with the "Palestinian Question" in the Israeli Government. But murder is murder whether planned or not.

And how is pointing out the obvious comparison anti-semitism? In reality its a sad case of the Tortured becoming the Torturer.

Wow...

This is news?

Let me break another story just for Broadsheet... Men often buy drinks for Women because they think that if the women are drunk they'll have sex with them... The Women often accept these drinks because they are broke or bored or simply want to drink, and have no intention of sleeping with a guy...

Has anyone that writes for Broadsheet been out on a date in ten years? Or is this wide-eyed astonished thing just a ploy?

Shocked, Shocked...

Not suprising.

Between being given the short end of the revenue stick by Indian Casinos and the general bad rep an Indian Tribes get in general for turning blind eyes towards this stuff most in California are fed up with it.

The honest answer is simply to stop pretending their is any sort of Indian / Native Nation inside the United States anymore. The sorry, sad fact of the matter is that our ancestors did a really decent job of wiping Indian Tribes off the face of the map.

To rope off one hundred miles of land, park a trailer on it, and call it a Nation is a joke. Its patronizing for white people, and insulting to any member of any Indian tribe.

The fact of the matter is that you're in America now.

Playing the Male Pig

I just don't care. I find it hard to work up any ounce of sympathy for an actress on a soap (that I didn't even realize was still running).

I've worked in Hollywood for almost five years, behind the camera and as a writer mostly. What most seem to fail to grasp is that as an actor or actress you are largely just another pretty face. Particularly in this type of, um, er, okay, crap.

Sure Angelina Joile can get away with it, and come back in 18 Months looking Fab; but she has an established career and fanbase. The average working actress can't because she has neither a following or an established career. Same applies for guys too. One too many beer and blow and stripper nights, and you will be roundly laughed then rolled out of most auditions (say Hullo to Tom Sizemore).

That's Hollywood. This is the business of selling dreams and fantasies to people who have none of their own. Those dreams often don't involve pregnancy, or middle age beer guts.

re: civics

Yeah, because the one thing the United States does not do, EVER, is interfer with a sovereign nation...

Well, okay, except Iraq, and Somalia, and Grenada, and Panama, and Vietnam, and Cambodia, and Iran, and Israel and Palestine, and Cuba, and El Salvador, and most of South America, and Spain, and Mexico, and the original inhabitants of the Americas (i.e. Indians)...

BUT outside of those and about a half dozen other minor historical incidences the United States government never, ever interfers with the sovereignity of another nation. Especially when another person's human rights are at stake.

Was There Ever a Time...

When Albert Brooks has been considered funny? Ever? He seems to be caught between either trying to be Woody Allen or Mel Brooks. Or maybe the unfunniest offshoot of Jeryr Seinfeld / Larry David ever birthed.
