Not This Time
[Read the article: Moving beyond Obama and race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Joan: Not This Time.
You can be an apologist for Hillary all you want but, at least understand they the people are sick of the republican and Clinton games of distraction and are saying to you: Not This Time.
But, maybe you should explain to everyone what Hillary will do for you. As a woman I don't think voting by vagina is particularly responsible but, I am curious why so many feel they should.
I know many women of a certain age feel they are owed the presidency. They seem to think Hillary will cure them of their resentments and disappointments over how their lives have turned out.
Never Mind that Nancy Pelosi broke a glass ceiling, is 3rd in line and in some respects more powerful than Bush and so is the most powerful woman in america. If you are pinning your hopes of your life getting better and this did not cure it, what makes women think Hillary can.
Joan, you sound more like in need of good therapy rather than placing all your hopes in curing your disappointments in life on a garden variety pol.
You vote for someone who you believe will be the best president. If you honestly think it's Hillary then, fine. But, if you are voting simply because she has a vagina, then I think you seriously need to re-exam your life and your priorities and responsibilities as a voter.
Trashing Sen. Obama simply because he is man and beating your candidate is not going to do anything more than to foster the already poisonous atmosphere of the primaries.

Clinton mismanaged her way out of the nomination
[Read the article: Why Hillary Clinton should be winning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]While everyone sobs for Hillary about the unfairness of it all the fact remains that Hillary was her own worst enemy.
She hobbled her campaign by mismanaging it. Beset with money problems and infighting and no strategy after Feb. 5th to compete in the contests in Feb. is what killed her campaign.
One of the factors in determining how someone would lead and run the country is in how they manage their campaign and Hillary failed miserably.
Obama won because he built an amazing organization from scratch and ran it well and innovatively. They looked for ways to fundraise outside the system of big donors and managed that money well. They organized and the campaign in run as team work. Many have commented that this is a campaign to be modeled on for years to come in it's effeciency and team work and organization.
As for Michigan and Florida. Gee, maybe the anger needs to be directed at the politicians who arrogance led them to defy the rules they voted for and ignore the warnings.
They went ahead and did this even knowing they would be punished for leap frogging.
They alone are to blame for the mess they are in. The voters need to place the blame where it belongs. The DNC gave them plenty of time and offered to work with them and they ignored it.
Just how concerned would Hillary be over the rights of these states if she was in the lead. It is false concern and in reality more about herself than the voters. And if she was nursing an insurmountable lead like Obama is now, how would she behave in this situation in this fight.
I am so tired of the excuses run out for poor Hillary. Her problems are of her own making and she lost as a result. It is plain and simple and people need to see this.

Large states
[Read the article: Why Hillary Clinton should be winning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Clinton supporters keep arguing large states.
this is a bogus argument.
States like New York and California are going to vote for a democrat regardless of the candidate. But, to move away from the failed 10 state strategy and grow the party you need to include and run in states not concidered blue. We have Virginia, Colorado and New Mexico and possibly even Georgia primed to vote democratic. With the big state strategy of the failed runs of 2000 and 2004, we lose these states.
Competing in them will most likely turn them blue.
Praying that Ohio and Florida will give you a win is a 50 percent chance at best. And if you don't win them, don't compete in other states then, kiss the nomination goodbye.
Obama is expanding our map and our party. Clinton is running an old fashioned out of date strategy and her arguments are so out of date.

Washinton Experience
[Read the article: Hillary's slick willies]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why do all these people complain that Obama doesn't have enough Washington experience to be president.
The logic is so off in this.
Barack Obama spent 8 years in the State Senate which is pretty much similar to spending 8 years as a governor.
Bill was governor of a small state. How is this any better than being a senator in a huge state like Illinois. You deal with issues of the country and the issues involving the state.
To demean it as unimportant then, you would have to dismiss all governors as well.
