Kennedy dynasty

I don't concider the Clintons a dynasty. More like a wannabe dynasty.

Either way, I feel Clinton, like most politicians, really passed her time to run when she did not in 2004. She would have beaten Bush and achieved her dream. I think she waited too long.

As a result, she ran not just a top heavy, messy campaign organization but, was so out of step. Neither Clinton could tell the mood and missed out on the revolution going on in campaigning itself.

For the Kennedys it is sad to see the passing of that dynasty. I do hope a new generation will come of age and take up the mantle that the current one never could quite achieve.

But, outside of one dynasty, it is best for this country to not have much in the way of those.

We do best when we stop hanging onto the past and stay stagnant, as with the Clintons.

We need to move forward and have new blood and ideas and that will be possible for the democrats only if they cut the cord with the Clintons.

Original article: Obama's best veep choice

Camille Hit All the Right Notes

I am also a feminist who has been disturbed by the reappearance of the uber, male bashing old school feminists with Hillary's campaign. Just like the right has dug up all the golden oldies of the past to label todays' democrats (pinko, commie, ect.) the past several years, we also got a trip back to 1970 with all the blaming of men for Hillary's shortcomings and the constant chorus of whining and crying sexism where there was none.

And these feminists who cry out for equality actually do not want that. They want Hillary to be treated as a spoiled favored child who never hears the word 'no'. And sometimes even this is not good enough.

What probably appalled me the most was that while Obama accomplished this monumental and historical feat in getting the nomination, the press totally ignores him to talk endlessly about poor Hillary and her feelings.

Even now, a week after it was all over the media is more interested in talking endlessly about the Clintons while regulating Obama to the runner up status despite his nomination.

I've noticed they have been pushing all the time now Clinton for vp. Why? Because the press is so addicted to gossiping and talking about the Clintons that they are terrified of them exiting the stage and refuse to accept the Clintons are no longer relevant.

Maybe the Campaign Should...

Reading the article I was thinking that maybe the campaign should do alittle chain emailing of their own. Since people send the emails they get smearing Obama to the Fight the Smears site's mail, maybe they should talk to those people and have them start a chain email to those names on it with the truth. and then circulate it around.

Fight fire with fire.

I Dred the Coming Weeks with the press obsession

The coming 2 weeks is going to be unbearable with the media obsession on Hillary doing an appearance with Obama.

weeks of more dream ticket crap and what about Hillary's feelings, blah blah.

The one thing her supporters never understood was that the media did not hate Clinton. They were simply so obsessed over both Clintons and loved so much to gossip about them endlessly like Hollywood reporters do with the celeb du jour.

The Clintons were the political reporters Bradjolina. And as such, they dished and gossiped about everything including the shallow and stupid. And criticized just as hollywood reporters do with celebrities.

They feared the end of the clintons era. Not having them to talk about endlessly and so, they did not wish for her to lose. The clintons were their favorite topic of all time.

And they salivate at Friday and having her back again. She is suppose to come back to the senate so, all week we will also have the Hillary watch on the senate and endless discussion of her feelings now that she is back.

sigh.

it is soooooooooooooooo tiring.

These women need to get over themselves

it's politics for gods sake. Grow up.

The world doesn't revolve around them and people are sick of hearing about these spoiled supporters feelings.

Their constant whining and wallowing in self pity is embarrassing.

I am a 50 year old white woman and have found these women to be embarrassing to women everywhere. And they are all acting like spoiled children for attention. They want everyone to drop everything, dance to their tune and give them unlimited attention.

They are acting like it's the death of a family member. It's a political election with polticians. If they cannot understand that they need to educate themselves on what politics is about and how it is conducted. And it is not conducted with sessions on supporters feelings and let's talk about it.

it's rough and tumble.

They need to get over it, quit obsessing and grow up.

I refuse to play the mind games that they seem to want the world to play. They threaten and hope everyone comes running and pleading.

Want to vote McShame. Fine. I really do not care.

Christy writes:

Christy writes: For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am voting Republican.

Judging by your post you are already sounding like a republican.

All these threats and foot stomping by Clintons cult are amusing. They expect everyone to drop everything and pay attention to them and plead with them and tell them that yes the world does revolve around them.

Hardly.

If they want to vote for McShame, then go. Do so. I don't care.

It will be fun to watch all the over emotional whining they will do in November when the second candidate folds to Obama.

The fact that you and the rest of the cult don't understand is that the world doesn't revolve around you and no one is going to plead with you.

We are just sick of your wallowing in self pity.
