I think that it would be better for Israel than for the US to cease the aid; for the US it is almost inconsequential, in dollar amounts, compared to other countries.

Don't bother. As I was talking about before, to me, aid includes the cost of housing and arming troops and bases. By that standard, aid to Israel doesn't include the lives of our troops, nor does it come close in dollar amounts.

It's not a standard definition, but one I think is more valid than just the amount of cash thrown one way.
