I voted for Senator Clinton in the Missouri primary. I will support Senator Obama if he gets the democratic nod. I believe we have a choice between two decent, flawed, imperfect, resepectable candidates. If indeed, because of inter-democratic squabbling, we elect John McCain as the next president, then we by God deserve just what we get. Four more years of four more years. If we squander this chance ... we deserve the consequence.

oath of office

I have the President's oath on the wall in my office. It says: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." Thank you, Alex, for that great reminder.

My own concern is this ...

I am opposed to wars.

Thus, I want it written into any future legislation that none of *my* tax dollars will go to fighting wars.

Makes sense to me ...
