Symbols of Womanhood

"juxtaposed with a symbol of modern young womanhood (a stripper pole)."

HaHaHa... So the symbol for young womanhood is no longer a worn out book by Jane Austin or a college diploma.

It's now... a stripper pole.

Women are in trouble, man, in trouble.

New Beginning

I don't know... I woke up today and everything seemed different. It seems that the Palin mania is subsiding and everything is going to be okay in November. Obama is going to win. Does anyone else feel this, or is it just me?

Pantsing Feminism

Thank you. Thank you for finally delivering the slap in the face that so many men and women need. I’ve often wondered how long women would let things like pole dancing fitness and football knowledge masquerade as real feminism. For years, the move from a Sanger-esque equality of the sexes to liberation through lap dancing has taken place right before the eyes of America’s voting women. Yet, even now, after seeing the effects of turning young women into classroom Hooters girls, we are on the verge of electing one vice president. I often ask myself when the madness will end, when women will wake up to reclaim their diminished equality, but I realize that the rekindling of an authentic, meaningful women’s liberation movement may only come about once women realize they have forfeited all of their gains. This is unfortunate, but likely if McCain achieves the Whitehouse.
