When I wrote to Sen. Lautenberg a few months ago, when the Congress was considered adding the "no war with Iran without Congressional approval", he responded with (paraphrased): "Iran is threatening Israel and we have to do everything we can to make sure Israel is safe. Limiting the president against Iran is a bad idea."

I found it very disheartening, to say the least. No offense to Israel, but why should I care more about people who live in Haifa than I do about people who live in Secaucus?

If you care to answer, WHY is Iran the greatest threat America has ever encountered? I'd don't see it, but I'd really like to know your reasons for saying this.
