black folks are the key

the GOP gained power over the last two generations by politicizing hatred towards black people. willie horton, welfare queen, affrimative action, the list is endless.not to meantion targeting black voters in ohio and florida. however, this last election, that crap got played out and old. but now, they can start all over again. they always have access to money because they have shown they will prostitute their message to corporate interests. ethnic groups like the jews, italians and irish became fully "white" over the last century. all the gop needs to do, is complete taking the hispanics, asians and even biracial into a white identity, hit the refresh button on the antiblack sentiment, especially the black "underclass", pour and mix in their usual doses of fear, contempt and rage towards the black/underclass, this time with an asian or hispanic face, boom back in power. simple.

micheal steele is nothing, so dont even mention him.

Original article: Ron Paul, secessionist

most likely price of secessions.

it's curious that secessionist almost assume that once states break from the union, those states that make themselves confederations will stay intact. most likely many of those states would have broken up into even smaller entities.many of them becoming highly stratified fiefdoms. paid agents of just about any hostile foreign country can not come close to the job done by the secessionists and libertarians. ironically these same right wingers consider themselves the most patriotic "god bless the us of america" truly psychotic split personalities.

one thing that is not discussed enough

is the fact that the big 3 didnt think long-term, which is why 4 years ago when i went to the auto show i saw big hummers with 10mpg or brand new cars with the same mileage they had in the 70's. The fact is the stock holders accepted this level of short-sightedness. much to our distress.

Dont cry too long for detroit, wayne county, folks

After all, I live here! Detroit was/is a victim of the folks who have a very myopic view of the city's potential. the Great and small of this town building cars no one wants, stupid idiots.

there is nothing inherently wrong with Detroit/wayne county that it cant come back, its geographically located in an ideal position. the 2nd busiest trade zone in the country or something like that.

The black community, which is held in great scorn and contempt by the racist white suburbs made several fatal mistakes, they put their faith in some of the most incompetent leadership ever known to man. the black upper class chose to become the servile class of the local white aristo-car-cy instead of pushing for their own wealth building opportunities.

Detroiters chose to vote 3 casinos into the city-a greater house claimer probably than even the big 3 dissolving. one thing i am finding out about my people is very few black folks are risk takers, its painful, but unmistakable to see, and i will argue anyone down who says otherwise. thats why blacks will give away the farm with the promise of getting "jobs", so what happens? the city privatizes city services and the contractors bring in Mexicans to do the work. you would never know there was a recession in Mexicantown, the whites are pushing millions (around 5 million there that area), so you snooze, you lose. Gentrification(black-removal) is coming along swimmingly here in the city.

Anyone with half a brain in their head knows that detroit is valuable, this land will quickly be swooped up and brought on the cheap. you can get a really nice house for under 30k and a livable one for 5k if the crack heads dont get first.

I am relying on making my fortune thru the internet, so i doesnt matter where i live. i live in one the worst neighborhoods in the city, now, its like the country, we now have rabbits and pheasants and possoms and i have 4 lot yard.

The folks who can hang on, and can work out a plan to survive are going to be doing just fine.

Original article: The dumbing down of the GOP

dumbing down? its been dumbed down.

The seeding process truly began in earnest in the Reagan era, flowered in the Bush-Cheney era and has truly bore fruit with "Caribou Barbie" Palin.

rock label?

I dont have an opinion on the band being reviewed, but I totally object and find offensive this entire notion of the "Rock" genre somehow being more definitive than other genres. why should i give give a flying leap whether great talent of Funk, RnB, Soul, and other black music were important contributors to "rock" any more than whether they were contributors to polka or country music? Parliament/funkadelic defined Funk music, thats more than good enough. black music can stand on its own and shouldnt be concerned with whether it "contributed to rock"- ie white people. i have REALLY had enough of this brainwashing!
