Original article: Climate-gate!

@squaresville

Your attempt to denigrate the work of the entire field of climatology is absurd. Each one of those scientists is smarter than you, and yet you try and pretend otherwise. None of the comments you made had any substance whatsoever, and yet you prattle away there as if you knew what you were talking about.

And why? Simply because the conclusion of these scientists makes you uncomfortable, as pretty much all change does. And so you would ignore a threat the existence of which is reflected in a multitude of diverse data from many, many scientists of many disciplines, the ramifications of which are truly dire.

Here's some math. You like Dick Cheney, who said if there was a 1% chance that Iraq could pose a threat to the US, then that justified blowing them to kingdom come. And yet if the chance is much higher that global warming is going to cause mass devastation, you're happy to sit on your barcalounger and tut-tut your betters.

If, for your own reason, you need to pretend to be smarter than you are, you'll have an easier time of it if you do it surrounded by fellow imbeciles. Here you'll only make a fool of yourself.

@Yminale

The ugly truth is that Global Warming maybe impossible to prove since global climate is too complex analyze.

With current technology, that may be true. However, its ramifications are enormous, and there are quite a multitude of data points indicating that global warming is happening. The sheer number of millenea-old glaciers that have melted over the past few decades is a good example. Given that, we don't really have the luxury of waiting to prove it absolutely.

So the most important decision in mankind's history has to be taken on faith.

Not faith. Reason. Empirical study and the scientific method are reasonable approaches to understanding things. However, I get your meaning, that basing major human endeavors (like stopping global warming) on something other than absolutely proven fact is a terrible idea.

What you say above betrays a general ignorance of science. Do you know that gravity is not a fully proven fact, actually still a theory? Nonetheless modern civilization relies on mankind's current understanding of it. Evolution as well is just a theory, however tons of health science are based around it.

Oftentimes, science is applied well before it's completely understood.

I see where you're going with your strict definition of racism. But I don't agree with some of the places you draw the line.

Generally, indigenous peoples believe they are superior to the whites, both culturally and racially.

Having spent an inordinate amount of time with native Americans, I have never witnessed this attitude ever.

When a person uses the word nigger as a slur, it does not make them a racist.

It doesn't?? Doesn't the use of the word nigger as a slur (that is, a derogatory term for black people) clearly imply that black people are inferior? I don't see how you can see that one differently. Have you ever met a non-black person who used the word nigger and was not racist? Me neither.

let me give you two examples where the killing and discrimination of a particular race is not motivated by racism. One, conquest and the ultimate purge of a race from that land.

From this example, I take it you don't think the Holocaust was racist.

Do you seriously think that JaaZee is going to visit that site? There are some people who are not interested in seriously investigating this issue, and JaaZee is definitely one. You should have told him it hosted shots of Sarah Palin in a french maid's outfit or something.

Elecro Zorkna

As I've said many many many times. I am a Democrat.

And, along with everything else you've said many many many times, this is bullshit. Remember when you used to post as "American Fascist," trying to pretend to be a liberal who hated the jews, so as to provide a single shred of proof of the only claim you ever make on these pages?

Sorry, Electro, we know you're insane and we know you're a lying sack. Hate to be the bearer of bad news...

Salon believes that 90% of all Democrats are secret insane John Birch members anyway.

No. Everyone you encounter believes that 100% of you is overtly insane. As far as the rest of your comment above, more nonsense from the psychologically unhinged.

I want it priced out of the range of all. Then everybody goes on catastrophic Medicaid for all.

Sing it, bruthah!! No preventative care for anyone! Ever! If you come down with cancer, just go to the emergency room to have your infected organs removed. This is the republican healthcare plan, expressed with refreshing honesty.

I hope you'll be contacting your republican leaders and encouraging them to come clean about their agenda.
