[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't want to argue; I'm really trying to understand you and other Hillary supporters. Can you really not see that most of your objections and complaints would look exactly the same from the Obama side of the equation? You've been in denial for a long time, but it has long been obvious that Hillary's only road to victory was to take it to the super delegates and hope that they would roll the dice for her. At which time, the Obama supporters would be the "vast numbers" who would be told that they are not welcome and unwanted under the democratic ticket. If the situation was reversed to where it stands now, what would be your strategy to get us back in the game? I have a feeling that your strategy would basically be on the level of telling us to suck it up and embrace the wonderfulness that is Hillary.
In truth, you do seem primarily invested in Hillary as president. Only she will do. In spite of the many similarities between her platform and Obama's, if Hillary isn't the one driving the engine, you just don't seem to care anymore. Iraq? Who cares. Health care? So what. That's the message I constantly get from you and others. If it isn't Hillary, forget it. I'm sorry, but that does smack of mindless cultism.
I culled this from your blog page: Keith Olbermann, of course, just noted that 7% of voters in West Virginia voted for "somebody else" - John Edwards. Once again the pundits cannot let Clinton have a pure victory, without injecting negatives that take attention away from this win.
So now you've moved into the realm of having a mere reporting of the facts become an anti-Hillary media attack. It's just exhausting trying to think how we can please you. What is a "pure victory?" Is it one that acknowledges no mitigating reality whatsoever?
Really, now, please be honest. The only road to happiness for you, it seems to me, is to have Barack cast aside his position as front runner and declare Hillary the winner. Even then, I wonder if it would be enough.
In closing, I want to say that I do understand some of your frustration. As a real progressive, I've had to endure the Democratic party run away from me for decades. Even this week, in WVA, I am definitely in the "elitist" camp that Hillary so skillfully invoked as somehow being the true enemy of the people of West Virginia.

Why it's hilarious
[Read the article: Huckabee jokes about gun being aimed at Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's funny because if Obama wasn't such a liberal pussypants he'd know that "Guns don't kill People" and so he would be in no peril at all by having one pointed at him. But instead, he's so dumb, not knowing how safe he is, that he dives for the floor like a sissy crybaby sissy.
He probably had more chance of injury from the fall than he ever had from the gun ha ha ha!

Poultrygeist
[Read the article: Critics' Picks]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I saw Poultrygeist in February. It's appallingly disgusting, gross, perverted, deranged and occasionally sickening. I can't wait to see it again. It truly is something you've never seen before. It's Lloyd Kaufman's masterpiece.

Scott McClellan: What Revelations?
[Read the article: Scott McClellan: The beatings continue]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I keep reading about how McClellan has made a lot of stunning revelations about his time as the press secretary. But if you ever watched him at the time, it was obvious that he was lying constantly, and knew he was lying. He had about a million little tells beaming out every time he took the podium. Liar liar liar! He reveals nothing, now, when he finally comes clean. My first reaction was, "Like, Yeah! Duh!" No, Scotty, rest assured. You weren't fooling anyone who didn't desperately need to believe the shit you were selling, or had some other motive to jump aboard the train to Crazytown. Hillary, apparently, believed it enough to go along with it, as did another prominent candidate for president so like a famous banner once read: Mission Accomplished. Looks like you get to grab it all; you got your war, and a book deal, too. Sweet.
Speaking of Hillary, I've been on the road the last 10 days or so; barely was on the computer or watched the news. Did Hillary say something stupid; again, I mean? Is she still in the race? I'll tell you this: Nothing she could have said concerns me as much as her idea that Obama not having his name on the ballot in Michigan should in no way bar her from claiming flawless "victory" in that state. That's just sick, seriously fucked up thinking. Michigan voters might get to go from being disenfranchised completely all the way to fully enfranchising a candidate they might have passionately opposed had they had the chance to vote for Obama. But, hey, ask some of the Hillary supporters on here. If Obama wasn't so busy trying to lie, cheat and steal the election from Hillary all day long, he could have ignored the rules just as much as she did, so it's his own fault.
And now, I will conclude, as I have before, all this bullshit only proves that the primary system is hopelessly flawed and broken. It needs a reworking from the ground up.
