@Sajwan
[Read the article: Clinton math]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Considering Michigan voters had no chance to vote for Barack, how do you justify allowing those delegates to count in her favor? That's sort of how Saddam Hussein used to run elections; it's supposed to be one of the justifications we've used to bomb the hell out of Iraq. Oh, but then he also killed people, but there are no rules in politics, that's right.
Also, read your concluding thought, only switch the name Obama for Clinton. How do you justify pissing off all the people who are supporting Obama? Is this really your big strategy for victory in November?

Let's not get mean
[Read the article: Clinton math]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]From KateTex: I have a great deal of difficulty picturing myself voting for a candidate who appeals to such incredibly nasty people.
Fair enough, yet I think you must admit there is plenty of that kind of energy coming from the Hillary camp as well. Do you not agree that many of the accused "Obamatons" might legitimately feel the same way at this point?
Respectfully,

Both should have been charged
[Read the article: Did "crying rape" lead to murder?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]They both should definitely have been charged with manslaughter. A person was killed, and both the husband and wife contributed to that. Other than that, it would be unwise for people to draw larger conclusions without a full viewing of all the evidence. There is much more to this story, I'm sure, than what was presented here.

Five minutes later
[Read the article: Tom the Dancing Bug]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And I'm still laughing.

Oh, Donald
[Read the article: Rumsfeld blamed generals for lack of forces in postwar Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is there NOTHING you won't not take responsibility for?
Life goes on indeed. Wish that all the people who died because of your warmongering could get that through their thick heads.

Thanks, Joan
[Read the article: What should Hillary Clinton do now?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's all I've been asking for from Hillary, and Salon, for the past couple of months. I just got back from hearing Obama at a rally in Oregon, and the only thing he talked about was the importance of defeating McCain in the Fall, and that he thought his plan was the best way to do that. He didn't say anything bad about Hillary (in fact, I can't say that her name even came up) but if he had gone on about Hillary this or that, it would have been as tiresome as when I hear and see the clips of Hillary aiming shots at Obama.
I want, and have wanted, to hear Hillary talk about why she is the best to take down McCain; instead, she seems to have spent more energy trying to convince me that a vote for Obama is the real danger to the country.
BTW, the rally was in Linn County, a notoriously white, working class bedrock Republican County. The audience loved what Obama had to say.

Boy was I wrong
[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Several letters threads ago -- I can't remember which one -- I predicted that THAT thread would finally be the one where Obama supporters and Clinton supporters would find common ground.
Turns out I was wrong. It's the exact same debate here, the very same exact one, only this one is about Hillary not getting the narwahl endorsement.
Narwahls are small toothed whales known for their distinctive spiral tusk. They live in the arctic, mostly. Global warming may eventually put PAID to their time on earth. I say let them cast their votes now, where they may.

[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Penguins are always problematic, of course. They're confused and have become militant, not ever being able to say if they are black or white. In America, of course, being both black and white, it stands to reason that they should officially be called black. "But I'm also white," they insist, to West Virginia voters.
"No, you are black. You're just as black as they come. And you're arrogant, too."
It's enough to drive a penguin insane.
