Brokeback: Sheer hypocrisy

Let's see... Absolutely no one in the world cares about what grade school Michelle Williams went to. No one!

If the director of the school hadn't come forward with the announcement that Michelle Williams went to his school, then no one would know, or care, and therefore would not be able to draw any conclusions about what is taught by the school. Why? Because they just wouldn't know, or care. It's really a simple concept.

But the director come forward for the sole purpose of telling the world information they didn't know or care about in order to plug his school. Why? Because Michelle Williams is a celebrity, and even though we don't approve of them un-Godly Hollywood types, were not above leeching off a bit of reflected glory for free advertising, even if our whole purpose in stealing that glory is to abuse an ex-student shamelessly for our own selfish purpose, then using our undeserved access to the public forum to deliver a message to shallow-minded parents out there that if they want to raise a bigoted homophobe then Santa Fe Christian school is the place for them.

The hypocrisy is disgusting. I don't think this is what Jesus died for. I hope to God it's not.

Stunning

This is a stunning upset. Stunning. His stunning lack of ethics couldn't be more stunningly obvious. For years he's used his position of power almost exclusively for his sole benefit and enrichment. For God's sake, who lives in this district? Do they have absolutely NO standards whatsoever? Does nothing matter to them at all anymore?

This is stunning. I am stunned.

George Clooney

Is right on the money. Hell, I didn't have access to a single official briefing or any of the intelligence material that senators and congress had, and yet everything I did know and was saying back then has played out exactly as I, and dozens of my friends, said it would years ago.

The disgusting thing is, the Democrats are STILL playing the Bushie's games. They are STILL letting them play the tune while the Democrats dance to it. God help me, I don't know why, but they need to grab hold of the baton and take control of the tune, and they just won't do it.

Amazing.

Hilarious!

I can't stop laughing long enough to write this response!

This is a must see

Hackett seems to be exactly what is needed right now, someone to take charge and sound like they have a plan and a passion to see it through. I can't be the only one out here who is completely disgusted with party leadership that still insists on pursuing this "Republican light" brand of fence sitting. Boring! Pointless! A losing strategy.

The groundswell is here. It's now. It's ready. It's been here since 2000 when the Democrats had the majority of voters behind them and on their side! But the Democrats not only refuse to ride that groundswell, they knock down anyone else who is ready to ride it.

Funniest line from the segment: "I believe we need to protect the environment. That's why I'm standing here in front of a river."

Hackett, forget the Senate run. Run for President.

Wow, he wrote a letter

I wrote a letter to the editor once. No one put me on TV about it, though. Know what I'm saying? It's okay, though, it would only have taken me away from my Par-tay!

Hey, Pierce, dude! You're 19. If you really really really approve of your Uncle's policies in Iraq, then spare us the letter and GO JOIN THE ARMY. Do it today. Do it now. Volunteer for every dangerous mission that comes up. Enlist and re-enlist until the Long War is finally over.

Katherine Harris

Katherine Harris is very much like George Bush in that they both seem utterly incapable of even conceptualizing the fact of their own mediocrity.

Blue eye shadow or no, you don't have to watch Harris long before keying in on her preening narcissism. The sooner she is relegated to her proper role as minor footnote, the better. As to George Bush, unfortunately it's far too late for him to assume his proper foot note status.

Yep, that pretty much tells the tale.
