More stupid
[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Organizations like Moveon and Naral are clearly not supported by McCain supporters, but are supported by BOTH Clinton and Obama supporters.
Well anyways used to be supported by BOTH Clinton and Obama supporters.
I can't imagine the self-destructive mechanisms at work. They are issue and policy organizations, why would they want to disenfranchise half of their supporters who agree with and want to support their initiatives?
More stupid, they could not be.

Bribed
[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The only reason I can think of casuing Naral to so obviously shill for Obama (especially in the timing of the announcement) is because Obama bribed Naral with access to his extensive mailing list of donors. It is a powerful list: it is all liberals (presumptively all pro-choice), it is very large, and it is people who have parted with their cash for political causes.
Old politics: Cash bribes.
Change we can believe in: Mailing list bribes

Sexism!
[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Who would have thunk that feminism was about promoting the female gender due to a hostile discriminatory environment.
It’s not like Affirmative action had anything to do with promoting black people in a discriminatory environment.
It’s not like civil rights had anything to do with race.
It’s not like the black theology preached in Obamas church had anything to do with promoting black people.
Why in the world would anyone think that a womens organization would ever want to promote a woman. All womens organizations of course understand that only a man could promote womens causes.
And if you believe all of the above, then you’d also believe the NY city is having a raffle for the Brooklyn bridge. Tickets are $100 a piece. Want to buy a few?

Highlights
[Read the article: Clinton supporters push back against NARAL endorsement]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Nancy and her board ignored the following in order to back a "winner".
Clintons Highlights
~Received several national NARAL awards
~Raised money for Naral
~Spoke at Naral and other Pro-Choice marches
~Held up the nomination of an FDA commissioner in order to force approval of Plan B
~Spoke during the Supreme Court nomination about the importance of protecting Roe vs. Wade
~Has been fighting for decades for a woman's right to choose.
Obama Highlights
~During Senator Obama’s 2004 senate campaign, the Illinois NOW PAC did not recommend the endorsement of Obama
~Illinois NOW stated Obama refused to stand up for a woman’s right to choose
~Voted ‘present’ on seven abortion bills, in order to gain political cover.
~Demonstrated on womens issues, that he could convert being spineless into a poltical advantage.

SEXIST(!!!!)
[Read the article: More negative reaction to NARAL]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, absolutely, what womens organization would promote women in leadership? Naral is well aware women need men to take the lead on womens issues.
Lets look at the facts:
Civil rights had nothing to do with race.
The black theology practiced in Obamas church had nothing to do with race.
Affirmative action has nothing to do with race.
School bussing had nothing to do with race.
Why would Naral or for that matter feminism have anything to do with gender?
--End Sarcasm--

With...
[Read the article: How will Barack Obama get to 270?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... these factors:
~Gas inching towards over 4$@gallon, maybe $5@gallon.
~Price of Food staples increasing
~Economy continuing to sputter
~Record number of foreclosures and bankruptcies continuing to increase
~housing crisis
~financial markets crisis
~Iraq continues to be mired in some "new" crisis after another
~Costs continue to rise in Iraq, including the costs for caring for increasing numbers of disabled vets
~Bush approval dismal at 30% or below.
You'd think Clinton or Obama would be way ahead.
The reality is that as of today, even as all of the above events are occurring, McCain is running more or less even against either Dem. Who knows what the future may hold, but the present isn't that encouraging.

Never made sense
[Read the article: Will gay marriage doom the Democrats?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Civil union" never made sense. Equal rights are equal rights.
Equal rights are an illusion when a majority retains veto power over whether a minority gets the benefits of any particular right.
Politically there is alot of fear and loathing around homosexuality, and supporting equal rights for gays does make it tougher for a politician. But not impossible for a true leader and true reformer.

If you are going to respond
[Read the article: Ignore the McCain vs. Obama polls]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Answer the question instead of lame ad-hominem attacks. But if you are going to use ad-hominem attacks, at least try to be creative. See below, as valid points are embedded with ad-hominems.
Let me help those drunk with kool-aid with the context of the question. Why does Shapiro want to ignore the polls when they show Obama no favor and embrace them when they support his dear one?
BTW, the appeaser label is going to stick. He could have dismissed Bushes suggestion by simply stating talking is not appeasement and then explain the history in about two sentences. By taking this as a personal attack instead of pointing out Bushes ignorance, he comes off as hysterical, shallow, self-centered and weak. The candidate of change is now the candidate of perpetual outrage. (Thanks Liberty or Death)

Sprots Radio
[Read the article: Wolfson calls planned Obama declaration a "slap in the face"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If Obama was honest his sports talk moment would sound like this:
"Well you know, I don't make predictions, you do have to play the game out, that is count the votes. But if we don't include FL and WI votes like the dumb-asses (Hillary and me included) in the Democratic party agreed too and if Hillary does not win enough super delegates to cause a stalemate, then I win. Until then, please go ahead and keep pretending I won."

They don't matter.
[Read the article: Maps show Clinton better against McCain than Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There are a number of electoral maps that show similar results to Roves maps.
And they all don't matter, just like the delusional posturing that the general election is a foregone conclusion for Obama.
The military, international relations, the poor and middle class, had to be almost all entirely destroyed before a tiny democratic majority in Congress was gained. And now said Democratic majority congress has worse approval ratings than GWB.
Cakewalk. Right.

A spectacle for the ages
[Read the article: Joe Klein exposes McCain's ignorance on Iran]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You boil down Obamas and McCains rhetoric and you get,
old and stupid vs young and stupid.
With the media and electorate taking turns cheering and booing from the sidelines.
