The next batman film
[Read the article: Obama basically concedes two upcoming primaries]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"it's worth pointing out that Clinton will likely win West Virginia and Kentucky simply because of the advantage she's enjoyed with white working-class voters."
I guess there are no young people in those states either.
Now look at this picture, unretouched from AOL news and tell me if Obama would not make a great Joker in the next Batman movie.

Good grief
[Read the article: RNC debuts attack against Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The RNC video in sum projects: Obama as a terrorist, he is weak on defense, all our children will be reciting the Koran in elementary schools if not all dead if Obama is elected.
Obamas Burton in reposnse: You guyz - you are so status Quo! Come on fellows and oh by the way your videos suck. There take that, you no hopers.
The RNC is attacking (yes of course unfairly, duh) fundmantal beliefs, alliances, and strengths to defend a nation. Obamas Burton response attacks their style. Good grief. Not good.

Couldn't get past it
[Read the article: Was Hillary channeling George Wallace?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"totally obliterating" Iran in the event it made a nuclear strike against Israel, and then reiterated that same statement last weekend, she made what was, until then, the single most ill-considered comment of the campaign."
This is supposed to be the previous most ill-considered comment? The current most ill-conceived comment may indeed be ill-considered but I couldn't get past the above quote.
SO if Iran nukes Israel, we do what? Send them a letter expressing disapproval? What do you think we would have to express about what we would do in that situation? It is the whole concept behind MAD. The reason nukes have not been used to date is not because everyone is happy and hopeful and young, but because everyone must believe that any nuke attack leads inevitably to mutual destruction.
Iran getting nukes is not worse than the black plague and the Holocaust combined as current US rhetoric suggests, but the issue remains that an Iran with Nukes gains significant political power. The US does not want that to happen in the middle east.
Clintons statement was posturing, but as a negotiating tactic it did not threaten but instead demonstrated a don't fuk with me attitude. It's a "I got bombs and I'll personally stick them up your ass if I have to - don't make me." attitude.
Clintons bluster may not disuade or prevent Iran from getting nukes but at least sets the stage for when Iran does acquire nukes. At any rate its a better tactic than sending left over "Change we can believe in" campaign buttons to Iran.

It's still up to her
[Read the article: What should Hillary Clinton do now?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am not exactly sure what tuesday showed that forces Clinton to quit. She doesn't need to get enough delegates to win, only enough to prevent Obama from getting enough candidates to win. Then anything goes. Thats the way the system was designed, so why is everyone upset that it is playing out as designed?
Due to the demographics of NC Clinton would have had to get 80% of the White vote to overcome the 90% black vote for Obama. That would have looked great in a headline. "Democrats vote by race." It's very good that did not happen but that it did not happen is not reason for Clinton to quit.
Obama should have won Ind. It's his backyard and he out spent Clinton by who knows what factor.
Clinton can bow out if she wants to, however nothing that happened tuesday forces her to do so.

Harvard? How many payoffs did that take...
It's nice to have money.
It's good to have an education.
It's better to have some brains.

whoop...ee...

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Their political ads are real winners.
For the GOP that is.

The Middle East...
[Read the article: An "October surprise" to help Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...just wants to practice their politics (violent or otherwise) without US intervention.
Thats the only thing that is clear. All the rest is mind-reading. The pentagon, pundits, politicians, etc, must have a huge bills from calling those 1-800 psychic phone numbers.
And now I forget, which presidential candidate promises to not meddle in the Middle East?

Brilliant plan!
[Read the article: McAuliffe: "We are in through June 3"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is this the plan?
Every effort in further alienating Clinton supporters will pay huge dividends in the general election. For every lost Clinton supporter vote, a Republican closet liberal cross-over vote will be pulled in.
Brilliant plan!
Maybe not.
Clinton could end up with more people voting for her than Obama in these primaries. But some of the votes do not count due to technicalities. Obama loves winning elections on technicalities, just like his Ill. Senate run and he must really appreciate what GWB did in 2000. Regardless, the Democratic party is split in half. If Obama supporters think he can win with only half the party supporting him, well, go for it.
