How can one pick passages from the Quran identifying it’s violent nature while ignoring equally violent passages from th Bible?
How can one claim there were no Mosques burned in America and ignore the level of hate crimes against muslims in America?
How can one connect murderous violence with Islam and ignore that in Exodus 21:7, the bible explains how to sell your daughter as a sex slave and not connect Chritianity with prostitution and immorality?

The attempt to separate religion from its adherents is disingenuous. Name a religion that exists without adherents. It is, after all, the adherents that define a religion, not the texts. – verelse
The logic here is overwhelmingly lacking. A culture of hate filled zeolots base their beliefs on a religious text, thereby it makes the religious text about hate filled zeolotry. I suppose then that since Charlie Manson committed horrendous murderous crimes based on beatles music then the beatles obviously are the pop group of horror and murder. Last but not least, since George Bush claims to be a Christian, all peope who believe him to be a murderous incomptetent fool are required to disavow themselves of Chritianity. Right.

Numbers are funny that way. They don't always tell the story you expect. You may also be surprised at Bushes numbers from previous elections.

What if you die by car accident, or by the bird flu, or by a criminal, or an airline crash, or allergic reaction, or an incurable disease, or gun accident, or by fire, or natural disaster, or any one of a host of terminal illnesses, or infected cut, or a domestic accident (you should find how many people die from this, you would not believe it) or if the draft is re-instated and you go die in Iraq?
Sane people understand that life is temporary and if you start to think of all the ways you can die in any given moment, dying from a terrorist attack is pretty low on the list.
But here’s another fear for you. If the terrorist attack you so fear, kills you first, you won’t be able to ask someone to write a well reasoned excuse to you.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The recent polls below show Clinton garnering more support nationally than Obama by 3.3%. So what? Polls are about as usefull in determining an election outcome as the point spread in Vegas is in predicting the Super Bowel winner.
On the other hand a pretty good indicator is Republicans telling everyone Hillary is the EZ candidate to beat. What they really mean is the opposite. In fact, the little wussies fear Hillary.
McCain, by the time he is thru with Obama will have him painted as the weak kneed liberal love child who is advocating surrendering to terrorists, and weakening our interests and security the world over. On the other hand, McCain tries that crap with Hillary, and she'll put him over her knee, give him a few good whacks and make him look like a little boy.
