  • Who would have thunk

[Read the article: The Weekly Standard's "9/11 Generation"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Nabalzbbfr quotes a passage in Gods book, which supports cutting your enemies heads off as a good thing. Damn if he doesn't sound more and more like a Muslim terrorist everyday.

And after all this time the Weekly Standard still has not recruited Bagdad Bob as editor in chief after his brilliant propaganda performance during the Iraqi invasion.

  • Where's my check?

[Read the article: Further politicization of the U.S. military's public statements]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"Hey, I think I've get this Glenn Greenwald thing down pat! Where's my check?" - Titus

You can reach down behind you, in your pants and pull the checks out from the same place you pull your posts from.

  • Spaghetti Westerns

[Read the article: What were the pre-2005 "other intelligence activities"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I was just thinking if I lived in a town in the old wild west where the sheriff, the mayor and the judge were all corrupt and in cahoots, what would I do. What could I do? Then I realized the answer is easy, I'd call Clint Eatwood.

If only there was such an easy answer to the current Gonzalez, Bush cabal in Washington.

  • The beginning of another day

[Read the article: Joe Klein and Beltway seriousness]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's a good start to the day if Be-Bop can make my eyes well up. Maybe I can spend the day further trying to salvage my humanity by taking a break from my rage against the machine.

So I'll start by giving it a try in responding to nabalzbbfr and I say this as not as a "true believer" but as a true "don't knower". There are many ways to mock God and a true lover of God knows they'll never understand God or be qualified to speak for God or make judgments on behalf of God. God is what always was, before the beginning and after the ending, God existed before time existed. God is eternal. If you love God you'll believe that God not only created our little universe but only by grace provides the power this universe runs on. Remember? The Lake of Fire is quite large and according to the Bible quite so, in order to accomodate the large numbers heading that way. So be careful.

  • Sorry

    [Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I was going to take a day off from my rage today and then ran into "truly deranged behavior towards Private Beauchamp" related posts.

When a soldier, in a war zone, in harms way, honestly shares his life, then has to take the shit that wing-nuts are dishing because he is not supporting their selfish fantasy of the war bringing Truth, Justice and the American way to the Iraqi people, then I lost it.

I started the day mellow but now I am pissed, so to all those dickheads out there screaming for Beauchamps blood, "WAR is HELL" is not just an expression. It signifies we don't need dumbasses starting dumbass wars, executing the war in dumbass ways with dumbass cheerleaders on the sidelines.

  • Exceeding Boundries

    [Read the article: Incorrigible]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Tony each day exceeds the boundries of what being a dumbass means.

1 trillion tax dollars is not the same as Tony's 1 trillion dollars inferred hit to the economy. Iraq spending = 1 trillion real American Tax dollars spent. Tony's 1 trillion, is a number pulled out of his butt after rummaging around up there awhile. And oh yeah Iraq has ZERO to do with 9/11.

At this rate Tony is going to surpass Baghdad Bob as biggest dumbass ever.

  • Whats more important - subpoena or toilet paper

[Read the article: Giving it all away]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's nice to know Arlen believes in a secret government, not accountable to the public that elected it, requiring generous opportunity for it's staff to lie, coverup and make stuff up without consequence. Nice, Arlen.

And WTF does a subpoena represent now a days. For the executive branch, it appears toilet paper is more highly regarded. And actually if this congress is unable to back up their subpoenas, then I'd have to agree, toilet paper is more valuable.

When a person does not follow a subpoena there are specific legal ramifications. I have heard of contempt of court, contempt of congress, but I have never heard of contempt of Executive priviledge. What's the legal ramification for not following executive priviledge - the chimp going give people bad references for telling the truth and following the law?

  • Substance of HH-MM Interview

[Read the article: Mike Allen and Hugh Hewitt on the politicization of the military]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    HH: "Chow Luv."

    MA: "Mmmmm Chow you Luv."

    HH: "I'mmmm soooho shallow."

MA: "Ohh amd me too. And... I ammmmmm so kiss-ass."

HH: "Hmmmmm, I'mmmmmmm all Politico all the time."

MA: "Chow you awesome journalist, you."

  • Is the White House lying about spying again?

[Read the article: Is the White House lying about spying again?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I understand that to be a rhetorical question, however even taking into consideration the elasticity that now surrounds the concept of lying, I feel the question does not need to be a question and can easily be made into a statement

"The White House is lying about spying again."
