Our leaders could have handled this differently. If they had stopped after Afghanistan, rather than conquering Iraq, these Monster Docs might well be focusing on Saddam, rather than on us. Or, now, they might be concentrating on their traditional Shi'ite and Kurdish weighbor/enemies, rather than on us.

The way this has played out, Scooter theoretically could have told the truth about Valerie Plame. And he would not have been convicted or sentenced.

As the Right Wingers tell us over and over again, nobody is charged with a crime invilving Ms. Plame.

So why did Libby lie? He must be covering up something else. Apparently, the truth about Valerie Plame could lead us to evidence of some other Bush/Cheny crime or crimes.

W. Bush is afraid Scooter will spill those still-secret beans. W. Bush probably will wash Scooter's feet in public very soon, and do whatever he can to keep Scooter happy and quiet.

If the Chinese Yuan is revalued, Chinese dollars already in the US will buy fewer Yuan, if they ever go back to China.

After a revaluation, though, if China holds back or suspends purchasing US debt, US interest rates will rise. And, probably, the rates will rise to a point somewhere near the point where higher interest earnings will offset the drop in relative value.

As our posters say, this is a complicated subject. But we are not talking about drastic revaluation, - just a few percentage points. Probably no financial apolcalypse.

Regular Americans do not understand this issue. I doubt whether regular American predidential candites understand it.

I am looking for a few visionaries to join me in building a big sailboat freighter for the Great Lakes, a schooner.

Here's our cargo: We will pick up cabin cruisers and speedboats at every Great Lakes port and marina. And we will bring them to be recycled into something useful, something economically ecologically sustainable. Possibly we can recycle them into sailboats!

If you keep it up, the International Court of Justice might lump you in with W. Bush + Cheney, and the International Court of Justice would have good reason to charge you in a couple years. Stop with the the Minister of Propaganda style fake logic!

1. The Anonymous who suggested that elite immigrants/refugees (e.g. doctors) just darn hate it when they get treated like immigrants or refugees... That Anonymous is brilliant.
