Rent A Barn

I suggest you rent a barn. Plenty of pole barns are available not far out of town. And rent a truck, and take everything to the barn.

The other posters here are correct: She will not want you to throw anything away. So move it to the barn, and give her a barn key, and arrange for her to visit her stuff once a week. On those same visits, take all the new weekly junk out to the barn.

She will use up her energy rearranging the stuff in the barn. It should be fairly easy to prevent her from bringing very much of it back home.

I suggest a barn because you probably can get a lot of space inexpensively. Big self-storage units and big garages cost a lot more than barns. Does she have property? Can you build a pole barn behind here house? (Simple, fast, inexpensive construction)

Put pallets down on the barn floor before you put her stuff inside.

I had hoarder customers at a self storage place I ran. They were smart and rational until I mentioned their stuff. Then they always turned cuckoo. Then sometimes they died, and I had to throw everything out.

Don't Wrassle With A Turd

I can see why Duncan Hunter or anybody would want to stay away from a fight with Ann Coulter. Better to say something nice-ish about her, and hope she trains her sights on somebody else.

It Depends on What the Definition of "Oz" Is

Oz = Early 21st Century USA.

AND! Scooter is not taking this hit for some "crime that never was committed." Scooter lied and unremembered in order to shield Cheney. We do not know what he was covering. I hope we can find out.

Scooter, please stand up and speak. Please stop pretending to be stupid. You will come to hate yourself, once all this sinks in, in a couple years, when you played an idiot on TV so long that you actually have become an idiot.

Fundamentalist End-Of-Days Take on All This Lying And Such

At the end of the world, the Bible says we will have many false teachers and false prophets. Are Christian right-wingers starting to get the idea that their own politicos and preachers actually are the false teachers and false prophets?

Filling In For The King - Baseball Is Okay But Fox Stinks

Today, I am King's self-appointed (not King-appointed) fill-in columnist. In case you do not recognize me, I am the King Kaufman Official Latin Translator (tm), Timbuktom.

The Detroit Tigers just took two of three from their division-rival Cleveland Indians. All the Cliche Guys (Would-Be Sportswriters and actual sportswriters alike) have been saying, "The Tigers have a bullpen problem."

But the tigers are good enough that they cannot use this excuse. The Tigers are good enough that they can transcend this cliche excuse. Here is their new, better approach:

When any Tigers' wonderful starting pitcher comes to the end of his road in any given game (sixth, seventh inning, whatever), Jim Leyland, the Tigers' manager puts somebody in to pitch. If that guy holds the other teams down, Great! But if not, The Hook! (cf Sparky Anderson, great Tiger manager in a previous great era)

And he keeps on hooking until the Tigers win. This is a big, recent departure from the (last week) Good Old Days, when Leyland respected (e.g.) Jason Grilli enough to let him lose the game.

We Always Have Hated Fox News - Fox Sports Stinks Too!

This evening, the Yankees vs. Angels game on Fox went into the thirteenth inning. And it ran well past the start time for the Tigers vs. Red Sox game, also on Fox in Detroit. Finally, mercifully, the Angels beat the Yanks.

BUT! And I repeat BUT! Fox did NOT give us a nice, quick look at the Tigers and BoSox. They ran a full end to the Yanks game, and then they ran all their backed-up commercials.

To heck with Fox! They could have given us quick acknowledgement, quick love. But they did not care about us Neanderthals who live in the middle of the country. (Detroit?!!! They are lucky we even broadcast there!!! Do they even have cable in Detroit? Nina! Research whether they have cable in Detroit! Do they still use wood-burning TVs?)

King Kaufman! Please start writing again soon! This is as cute as I can be, and I cannot do it every day. Maybe some of your other fans will write sumpthin to fill the gap, but we really want you.

P.S. - Neifi Perez Is A Doper!

Our King does not like infielder Neifi Perez. It goes back to Neifi's service with the Cubs, or somewhere further back in our King's misty past.

Well, King, you were right. That darn Neifi is no good. The Tigers had him as a backup infielder plus third-string catcher. And he played a little bit this season.

But all of a sudden, Neifi has been suspended for twenty-five games. MLB did it, not the Tigers. The MLB policy is that any plyer who tests positive for some illict drug gets a quiet warning the first time, and then a 25-game suspension the second time.

So Neifi is a two-time loser.

The Tigers have been taciturn, laconic, call it what you will. The Tigers brought up an infielder/outfielder from Toledo to repace Neifi on the roster. When the twenty-five games are over, do you believe Neifi will be back?

I do NOT believe so.
