  • The Politician & the Reverend

[Read the article: Barack Obama delivers make-or-break speech on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama is eloquent as always, however, for him to say he's never heard this side of his Reverend after their closeness for so many years rings hollow. I am offended the Obama camp has tried to spin this in so many ways. First, Wright's sermons nor his relationship to Obama can be legitimately compared to the Ferraro interview. It's dishonest, so stop insulting the public everytime the Rev is mentioned by insinuating a comparison really exists. Secondly, to paint all black churches as bastions of hate-mongering is not only false but dangerous. I cringe every time I hear Obama or one of his surrogates claim Reverend Wright is using tactics that are commonly employed in black churches every Sunday. Is the world supposed to believe black people will only respond to race-baiting & hate-mongering? If anyone ever wanted to reinforce any negative stereotypes about black culture, this is all they need. Also, consider how this perpetuates the black community's own image of itself? How could anyone expect black youths to be anything but angry & disaffected on a steady diet of hate & self-loathing. Third, these sermons coupled with Michelle Obama's comments and actions pretty much establish the influence this guy has had on the Obamas. I hate that this happened, but I feel Obama is a fraud & a horrible hypocrite.

  • Endorsing Obama

[Read the article: Matthews rails against "Clinton-centric world" ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

How could she forget how he gets a tremor up his leg when he hears Obama speak. What plainer endorsement could he give? He's embarassed himself over Obama almost as many times as he embarassed himself over Bush. Remember when Matthews stated that everyone loved George Bush & wanted to hang out with this guy? What a putz! Chris Matthews has 0 journalistic integrity and not a clue how anyone but himself feels. His arrogance just makes him think he does. What a turd!!!!!!!!!

  • Jaundiced Media

[Read the article: Leahy: Clinton should quit]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's sad to see the media choosing a president yet again. You'd think we learned our lesson. The media chose Bush & that was disastrous. Now they've chosen Obama. I'm sick of how biased the coverage has been. If the public would delve into a tiny bit of independent research they'd see Obama for the fraud he is. Nominating him is the best shot McCain has & Leahy & his pals need to think about that.

  • Deja vu

[Read the article: Hillary's team crosses the line]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

How do you feel about the Obama people trying to freeze out voters in the remaining states? Everyone knows they were behind eliminating Michigan & Florida, now they're going after the remaining 10. Hmm, reminds me of someone else that fixed elections. I'd say that was crossing a really big line. But then, we should be used to fixed elections, right?

  • Not working class, not hero

[Read the article: Barack Obama, working-class hero?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You mean working class fraud. I will give him credit for being a silver tongued devil, but that's the sum of it. The media has been crushing on him since the beginning of this campaign so he's gotten more than a free pass. They make excuses for everything he does. His campaign doesn't have to spin his faux pas anymore, Harry Smith & Tim Russert will handle that for him. He feeds his children a steady diet of resentment & hate whitey & jews, " it's okay, all black churches do that". Obama's lawyers foil any plans for revotes in Michigan & Florida, " he's not responsible for what the state delegations decide". His people start calling for Hillary to concede," he can't help what his surrogates do, he wants everyone's vote to count". (Although, in his first run for the Illinois legislature his lawyer paid the other candidates to bow out.) You have to hand it to him, he's an ace con man. It shouldn't take people too long to figure out he's not at all what he claims. I just hope its not too late before Kerry & friends hand the presidency to the Repubs AGAIN.

  • Be Honest

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's petition ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Tell the whole story. The reason Florida & Michigan aren't having do-overs is because Obama's lawyers blocked their efforts. As usual he says one thing but is actually working towards another. What a fraud & hypocrite he is. What's worse is the media letting him get away with it, just like they did with Bush. Wake up people

  • Thank you, Joan!

[Read the article: Thank you, Rush Limbaugh!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I couldn't agree with you more. It's almost as if these people were born of animals or something. Do they really have so little respect for their Mothers, wives, daughters, or sisters, not to mention the numerous women that have influenced their lives? It's quite a pathetic commentary on our society. It also shows how rabid the Obamabots have become. They don't seem to see they've become just like the Bush conservatives in their warped fervor. I guess when you have been sold your candidate solely on biased media reports & how he makes you feel, all you have is emotion to argue your point of view. I truly wish these people would wake up & realize thy're being duped AGAIN! If I thought any of the Obama supporters I spoken with really knew anything substantial about him I'd have more respect for their opinions. However, I've yet to find any that do.They can't tell you anything about his record or his political history, just surface stuff. I've done my own research & he appears to be little more than a facade that delivers speeches well. Everything in his adult life has been calculated for this campaign. He says one thing on the stump when in reality he's the opposite, but no one would ever know unless they take the time to read for themselves. What is so scary about electing a woman, anyway?
