"I've never been proud of America"

Again how is Barack Obama, Michelle or any of his family going to forgive Hillary when she's never apologized to them.

I'm sure Hillary Clinton will lie awake all night wondering whether the vulgar Michelle and Barack (who said they aren't proud of America and who gave $26,000 to "God damn America" Wright last year), "forgive" her.

Female Democrats + moderate swing voters = McCain

If it comes down to it, if those of you for Hillary would rather have a republican than Obama, then so be it. I no longer have a personal stake in reproductive rights and as far as I'm concerned, aside from that, Hillary *is* McCain.

Reproductive rights aren't in my top five issues. You Obama people just don't get it. Enough of us in states like OH and PA would rather vote for a good Democrat than a Republican but would do it anyway if the only other option was Barack Dukakis. He's not fit for the office.

Barack has problems with female voters but he has even bigger problems with moderate voters. We don't like him.

Michelle doesn't like America

unfortunately, many single issue and low-information voters will conclude that this woman is too angry to be First Lady.

I'm multi-issue and high-information and I concluded the same thing.

Democrat swinger

FWIW, I'm a 50 something white woman who grew up in PA with you "moderate swing voters" and folks who called themselves Democrats but at least half of the elections voted for folks like Nixon, Reagan and W the first time he ran. In fact, I still have a couple of family members in Central and SW PA who *think* they're Democrats even though the only Dem they voted for in the last 30 years is Bill, the guy who signed the Defense of Marriage Act, and who backed down on his female supreme court nominees. Oh yeah -- THAT kind of Democrat.

I voted for Bush I, Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Kerry. Would have voted for Clinton, Edwards, Biden, Dodd, Richardson against McCain but not Obama or Kucinich or Gravel.

Lost Minds

i'm so effing tired of your effing threats and your defense of clinton's vile campaign. what seals is it your vomitous defense of her ghoulish raising of the specter of political assassination. you people have lost your goddamn minds. so take your threats, and your indefensible defenses and...well, you know the rest, you ghoulish vulture

Are you Obamapaths going to be able to cope come November?

SCOTUS

If Grampa makes the next Supreme Court nomination you can kiss good-bye much of the progress that's been made.

You don't get it. Except for the 25% of the electorate supporting Barack Dukakis, the rest of us are sure McCain's supreme court selections would be as good as or better than Barack's.

Third Party

HRC's party will represent her base of working class male and female voters, older male and female voters, feminist voters, Hispanic voters.

Obama's party will represent his base of the anti war left, adolescents, and blacks.

ShawnWM

You're talking to clowns that nominated a rookie crook from Chicago named Hussein Obama with a big mouthed wife who ran a parimary on race while people have a misery index almost as high as the Great Depression.... instead of someone who would have handed McCain his own ass hands down.

ShawnWM, you're about the only thing worth reading at Salon these days. God bless you.

No wonder you want her out

Clinton expected to finish as the popular vote winner.

Race is a factor.......now

You are right on one thing though; having made the race all about...race, it IS going to hurt Obama. Even if he were competent and qualified and race wasn't a big transparent smokescreen for the fact that he has no plan, no experience and is as qualified to be President as your dog Rover.

Damn right. The vulgar Obama campaign couldn't help being so shortsighted as to inject race just before the big (red) states with big black populations voted. They've paid for it ever since and millions of Democrats like me will be helping them pay for it in November.

Obama not owed an apology

I mean, the misunderstanding had more to do with suggesting Obama might get assassinated and there she'd be in the wings or something, not anything offensive to the Kennedys.

Why? She was also inherently acknowledging she could be assassinated. There are two people running in this primary, despite the world Obamapaths inhabit. (Not you, LateAgain. You're the only one I've seen since Barack Dukakis started his campaign who isn't certifiable.)

Unity

Of course Lolcait. Why should Hillary apologize to Obama? After all, he is a black man, not worthy of apology. White people are entitled to threaten black people with impunity. She does not owe Obama anything. That is why, she is losing and lost forever

I and millions of other Democrats are voting for the candidate in November whose nutty disciples don't call us racists.

You're voting for the candidate who will lose in a humiliating landslide come November because of voters like me.

We're working together to defeat Barack Dukakis. I like that.

Monday, May 26, 2008 08:16 PM

Actually Clintonism is about to be reinforced come November

When us "Clinton Democrats" defect and vote for the lesser of the two remaining evils, McCai it will remind us once again why Clinton won two terms, whereas candidates like McGovern, Kerry, and both Dukakises (Mike and Barack) went down in history as losers brought down by the loser loving left.
