Palin abuses her positions of authority with petty, vindictive behavior

As has been demonstrated repeatedly when digging into her record. There's Troopergate. There's the attempt to fire a LIBRARIAN over her refusal to ban books that rankled Palin. There's the demand that public officials in her hometown submit "letters of loyalty" to Palin in order for them to keep their jobs.

Can you even imagine what horrible levels Palin's petty, self-serving and vindictive behavior will rise to if she's in a position of federal authority? She'll make Dick Cheney look like a shrinking violet when he outed Valerie Plame.

Palin cannot be trusted as a VP when she would use her position to further personal vendettas.

clockwork smurf

Exactly!

The McCain campaign has been nothing but "too little, too late".

They'd have no ideas whatsoever if they weren't copying from Obama.

Where is the Keating Five ad???

I've been waiting for one all election cycle, and not a peep about it.

Don't you think the American people would be interested to know that McCain took bribes to help out one of his buddies who created the Savings and Loan scandal back in the eighties?

Does this campaign- or the media- want to talk about a DOCUMENTED example of corruption by McCain? Or is that just too far back in the past for people to care about?

Original article: Making a mockery of 9/11

She...is...CRAZY!!!

I couldn't believe the ferocious level of indignant anger boiling beneath her surface during the entire interview. She seemed stunned that anyone should dare question Sarah Palin! And follow up for clarity!

Look at the exchange she had with Gibson when he was talking about her statement that "Iraq is God's will". Palin seemed to be using every ounce of strength in her body not to claw and spit at Gibson. She's nuts!

I learned two things from Palin's interview:

1) She is grossly incompetent and completely ignorant in regard to pressing, life or death, national and international issues.

2) She has an EXTREME anger problem. Someone with Palin's emotional instability should be kept as far away from the Oval Office as possible. Do you want that indignant finger on The Button?

Look at her exchange with Gibson on Global Warming and Energy Policy

Talk about getting caught flat footed! She was struggling so hard to remember and regurgitate her canned answer that it came off as obviously fake.

Don't you want a candidate who can speak and think on their feet? Like Obama? Like Biden?

Don't you want a candidate that doesn't have to go to political "boot camp" in order to be up to speed on things average citizens know well?

I don't want a candidate who has to sweat and worry over Karl Rove's note cards in a bunker for a week before an interview. I want the candidate to ALREADY KNOW IT.

You can see this clip on ABC's website right now.

Cowgirl Diplomacy

After eight years of the "shoot first, ask questions later" diplomacy of George W. Bush, I would think the American people might want someone in office with a bit more finesse. Someone with an understanding of complex issues. In other words, someone who isn't Sarah Palin.

Fundamentalist mindsets, as demonstrated by George W. Bush and Sarah Palin, are a disaster when coupled with political management. Especially on the global scale. This is the mentality of "You're either with us or against us" and "Bring 'em on!" Her answer to the Russia question was Sarah Palin's "Bring 'em on!" moment.

Frightening.

Personal beliefs are one thing. As when someone says, "'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.'" It's one thing to believe something, but something else entirely when someone would use their position as Vice President to hasten Armageddon, which could kill billions.

Sarah Palin- just as reckless, stubborn, knee-jerk and hair-trigger as George W. Bush. Maybe even worse.

Excellent Response, Cary

well done.

I think you've summed up very nicely what I and many people struggle through. It's important to remember that minor discomfort can be enlightening, as long as we put it in the perpective of something larger.

Not losing sight of the goal. Not ripping down the shelter just because a fly bites us.

Here we go again...bullshit right-wing 527's...

Coming up next...

"Obama will take the Bibles out of your hands!"

"Obama will also take the guns out of your law-abiding hands!"

"And them fags still want to destroy society!!!"

So a completely unqualified, incompetent Alaskan politician

allows a completely unqualified private citizen to make important policy decisions?

Wonderful. I cannot imagine the horror and crony incompetence Palin would inflict upon the Federal government.

Heckuva Job, Palin!!

I hope this puts to rest, once and for all,

that "Trickle Down" economics...DOES...NOT...WORK!

The freewheeling piracy of Reganomics has been a boondoggle foisted upon the American public for almost thirty years. It does nothing but gut our infrastructure and screw the poor and middle class so the rich can get richer.

The GOP owns this economy lock, stock and barrel. They deserve to be sunk by it.

Want to see Obama's specifics?

Go to www.9news.com they're streaming his speech. It's a barn burner and it's FULL of specifics.

This man is awesome and he is going to win.

Look at all of the trolls. Sad, sad.

Filling up these boards.

Face it Repugs, you're gonna lose. The country is not on your side this time. The American people are not as dumb as you hope. They see our economy swirling down the drain, they see their cost of living going through the roof, they're working twice as hard for half as much.

They're not in the mood to get screwed over for another four years.

You're going to lose, Repugs. Enjoy your time off in the wilderness.

Irony dead, funeral tomorrow

Because obviously a man raised by a single mother who worked his way up the ladder, and only has one home, is much more of an elitist than a member of one of the richest families on earth.

Fingerprints of Rove and Cheney
