Does she have anything else but these "zingers"?

They're getting pretty tired. Condescending, school-marm tone and delivery -and still- nothing of substance is being said.

Okay, we get it, Sarah Palin is good at throwing put downs. Bravo. So what's her plan to fix our economy? Or health care? What does she suggest we do about the war in Iraq?

Her big speech wasn't even three days ago and I'm already tired of her "pit bull" shtick.

Maverick, my ass

One would have to have been dead to the world for the past eight years to believe for a moment that John McCain is at all a "maverick".

If he's such a "maverick" why did he act as a rubber stamp for the worst policies of the George W. Bush administration 90% of the time?

If he was such a "maverick", why didn't he work to change his party during the two and a half DECADES he was in the senate?

Palin flip-flopped on the "bridge to nowhere". Not only that, but the great "bridge to nowhere" idea was brought to you by...you guessed it...a GOP senator.

McCain and Palin are nothing more than hard-right extremists trying to paint themselves with a populist brush, hoping that the majority of Americans haven't looked at their records.

Sorry, John. Just because you say "maverick", doesn't make it so.

Original article: Palin watch ends!

What is her involvement with the Alaska secessionist organization?

And how is she a "patriotic" American if she supports secession?

Oh...

And what- in detail- are her plans to restore the economy?

How does she intend to assist a McCain administration in rebuilding our fractured alliances and meet with world leaders?

Does SHE at least know the difference between the Shia and Sunni?

I don't think hockey and moose hunting are make or break skills on the world stage.

It's a start, but...

who the hell is going to read a press release?

Get an ad on the airwaves, pronto!

AGAIN...Palin dominates this page's content...

Can we get back to talking about OUR nominee, Barack Obama?

Enough about Mistress Mooseburger, already.

I like the whip crack

pretty clever.

It's a good start. But the Obama campaign is going to have to hit a lot harder in the coming months to make an impact.

I hope you're right

Palin was good for GOP base on her debut- a hard hitting, hate filled, hard right reactionary fundamentalist. With lipstick.

It's entertaining for a few days. But then it starts wearing thin. The "pit bull/hockey mom" becomes nothing more than shtick, especially when people start realizing that Palin isn't saying a damn thing.

I give it another week before it starts evening out again. The September bills are coming due for millions of individuals and families across the nation. The bottom line will start to look more pressing against a snappy stump speech. But it requires Obama and Biden to get their ducks in a row about the economy and come up with hard hitting, quick points to put into the media. It sucks, but they're going to have to play to the sound-bite presentation that we're given in the major media outlets.

Bring on the Trolls!

It's a free country, and I'm sure Sarah Palin looks a lot and may even act a lot like someone we know. But let's break it down if McCain/Palin get elected (GOD FORBID!):

Our standard of living will GO DOWN- McCain is nothing more than 4 more years of the Bush economic policies- massive tax cuts for the rich, corporate welfare, no re-investment into America's infrastructure. We'll be putting it all on our Chinese sponsored credit card. This year we're $407 BILLION in the hole. If elected, McCain would be digging like a madman.

Our right to privacy will VANISH: Remember spying? Remember warrantless wiretapping? Remember FISA? Remember THE FOURTH AMENDMENT? Do you think John McCain will give up all of that illegal executive power? Don't make me laugh.

Our international relationships will continue to ERODE: Assuming that McCain's first act in office isn't to bomb the hell out of Iran (and I believe it might well be) we need someone who will help restore our valuable international alliances to we can catch Osama bin Laden. Remember him? I do.

America will continue to fall behind in education, health care and green energy: Our institutions have been asleep at the switch for the past eight years. Education is a joke in this country and needs an overhaul- not more teaching to the test, but actual teaching. Health care is an abomination in the United States- millions of WORKING Americans go uninsured because of the corporate greed of pharmaceutical countries and insurance companies. Green energy is being explored and developed by other nations while we fight over squeezing the last drops of oil from our domestic resources. Not to mention that green energy can be produced IN AMERICA by AMERICAN WORKERS. No need to shake hands with the Saudi's while they tighen the screws on our economy.

All this an much, much, much more. Take everything that the Bush administration messed up- the exact same will happen with McCain. But it will get much worse than it is now.

Do you want to win this election?

Because if your posts are any indication, I have my doubts.

I'm sure there' something that could be said about either Obama or Biden today. Something positive, that is.

How in the hell is Palin a feminist?

I'm not even reading this article because the lede makes me realize how off base Paglia is.

Palin is a feminist? You've gotta be kidding me! Every single one of her positions is nothing but anti-feminist and anti-woman! How can you have the chutzpah to say that Palin is a feminist when she would destroy a woman's right to choose and force women into back-alley, illegal abortions which will KILL scores of women?
