Elizabeth Edwards did not try to silence Anne Coulter.

She only asked that Ms. Coulter stop the personal attacks.

There is room for debate but Ms. Coulter says what Republicans really think but can't say.

Ohio should be Obamas but he was too bloodied by HRC there. Still in play but the margin is wider there than CO or NH.

Not picking Ridge ( that could change if McCain dumps Palin) could have been a huge blunder because now PA is moving out of the toss-up category.

Missouri-too redneck-is the only state that McCain is running ahead of Bush 04.

It's gonna be close and it comes down to racial predispostions.

Sorry to let you in on the secret Joan but the Clintons and their watercarriers (if the shoe fits wear it)started the Obama demonizing.

As you sow, so shall you reap.

I showed up with an Obama cap.

My wife liked it which I expected.

Jill did, too and that was a big surprise.

This reunion included Bainbridge (GA) High School classes of 1973 and 1974, Jill was one grade behind me.

I will never forget walking up to her, seeing her name tag and instantly becoming a timid thirteen year-old eighth grade kid.

Throwing caution to the wind I extended my hand and told her,"I had a monstrous crush on you in the eighth grade."

I was not flirting, my wife was standing right next to her.

"I'm shocked" Jill said. "You never told me" my wife added.

Thinking a lot quicker on my feet as an old man. "Well, I have good taste."

It was a magical weekend for me. We got to know each other as fifty year olds and it was worth the wait.

I had asked her to a dance in the eighth grade-after months of worshiping her from afar. She told me she has something else to do. After that I could never, ever look her in the eyes.

She says it never happened. "You were so cute." Time heals all wounds I guess.

She emailed a couple of months later and said how exciting it was to shake Barack Obama's hand at a rally.

But that took second to "finding out you had a crush on me."
