  • I Can't Believe He Said That

[Read the article: Rudy amid the evangelicals]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You can't possibly describe Judeo-Christian values in one lesson or two or three, but if there was one, it would probably be Jesus' admonition that you would be judged based on how you treat others and I would try to exemplify that... Rudy Giuliani

That is HILARIOUS! I can't believe he said that with a straight face. This is the guy who got his friend the pedophile priest to help him get an annulment from his first wife - an annulment she fought. He led a pack of journalists through his Upper East Side neighborhood as he paraded around with one of his mistresses and announced he was getting a divorce without telling his second wife. His second wife had to go to court to prevent Rudy from bringing his mistress into Gracie mansion where he had been banging her while the kids were upstairs. This is a man who lied about and covered up his own father's violent criminal past, yet crowed in a press conference that the security guard who had been accidentally shot and killed by narcs had had a sealed juvenile record years before. This same man, who exposed the juvenile past of a dead security guard who had long ago straightened out his life, begged for "family privacy" when one of his kids nonchalantly admitted that he doesn't have much to do with his father (the father who was banging his girlfriends downstairs while he, his mother and his sister were in the house.. remember?).

This guy thinks he can channel Jesus Christ's admonition to treat others as he has treated them.

    Rudy Giuliani?

    You're going straight to hell!

(manical laughter, lightning bolt and appearance of a flaming pitchfork)

  • Cut Off Funding 100%

    [Read the article: Cheney blinks?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Since the Vice can't decide from one day to the next whether he's executive or legislative, and since he decides daily that neither oversight, general accounting nor the law applies to him, then cut off all of his funding until he complies.

    Very simple.

  • Free Speech Is a Two Way Street

[Read the article: Bashing Elizabeth Edwards]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ann Coulter can say whatever she wants. But she has to accept the consequences of what she says and she doesn't want to do that. That's what makes her such a whiner. She wants to dish it out to Elizabeth Edwards. She wants to make fun of the Edwards' by using their dead son, who can't stand up for his parents. When it's time for Ann to hear someone else's free speech in response to hers, she gets hysterical and decompensates, trying to shout down the other person's right to free speech.

It's about time people stop knuckling under to these conservative media loudmouths who scream all day long and write slanderous crap about anybody and everybody. Stop letting then yell that they're being censored. They're not being censored, they're being ANSWERED. Free speech is for everybody, not just for blustering loudmouths.

  • I Remember the 60s and 70s

[Read the article: Ann Coulter: Almost a "great American"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

There was not one mainstream Democrat who praised Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin or any of the other radical far-leftists who made it to the list of media darlings in those days. Hoffman and Rubin were only half as radical and bombastic as Coulter and they were never invited to be guests on purported "news" programs. I think one or both of them may have appeared on the Dick Cavett Show in their radical heyday, but they never made it onto political pundit shows. Besides, I think they were both FBI plants to derail and discredit the anti-war movement and the youth culture of those times. Notice they both disappeared from view rather suddenly. Rubin resurfaced as a stockbroker and engaged in staged Yippie vs. Yuppie debates with Hoffman. Hoffman "hid" in plain sight in upstate New York where many people visited him. His claim to have had plastic surgery to drastically alter his appearance was farcical. He had a nosejob, big deal. Both men died violently, Hoffman supposedly by his own hand, Rubin as a pedestrian traffic fatality (rather ironic for a man who once advocated "hit and run tactics). Genuinely thoughtful, intellectual dissenters were eclipsed by Hoffman and Rubin's full-out hogging of the spotlight. One of the best moments of the 60s was Pete Townshend literally kicking Abbie Hoffman's ass off the stage at Woodstock while telling him to fuck off.

Fast forward to today, when a woman who advocates torture, assassination and the forced conversion of non-Christians; who calls men faggots and who mercilessly pokes fun at a dead teenaged kid and his grieving parents is lionized by what passes for the mainstream media.

The American century ended in 2000. It wasn't a terrorist act by foreigners that brought about the millennial fall (Clinton prevented that); it was George Bush's cousin in the news media and family consigliari James Baker who brought about the stolen election which changed America irrevocably and cost us our place in the world. Ann Coulter is a loser's loser, which makes her a winner in Bushworld.
