I don't understand this media stuff

How can it not be total political suicide for a totally unknown politician of either party to make an enemy out of the media, the people who are most responsible for shaping public opinion of her? Do you really think the execs at CNN, who pick and choose what's newsworthy, are really gonna see you in a good light after you disrespect them and call them sexist? Fox alone isn't gonna be enough to help when you're gonna have CNN, MSNBC/NBC, CBS, ABC, and every major newspaper right uo your ass.

And so, because this confuses me so, and because my big toe itches (two here because I forgot in my last post), Sarah Palin is a liar.

Womabat is right Joan

Stop answering questions about the pregnancy whatsoever. Don't talk about it. It's not important.

Next time you're on TV and someone asks you about it, why can't you just say that it is not important, and pivot to something that is? Ignore the question and talk about how Sarah Palin is a liar, for example.

Just three words. It's not important. That's all you need or should say. That's it. It's not important. Then move on to something that is.

And because that's all you should say about the pregnancy, Sarah Palin is a liar.

This only goes to prove my belief

That Sarah Palin is a liar.

I think this could backfire

Hannity is a nut. So is Palin. I would imagine that the questions that he will ask Governor Liar will be of a neocon slant. Which, for the neocon base will sound wonderful, but for 90% of the country, will just make her sound even worse than she actually is. He could frame a question denying enviromentalism, and she'll agree with him. He could frame a question against abortion, and again she'll agree, to the very extremes of her position. He could frame a question as if invading Iran is a good thing, and she'll go all gung ho on it.

If this happens, then it would be a disaster for Palin the Liar. Even as it will make Hannity smile, along with all the intolerant idiots that are in her corner right now, it will absolutely petrify everyone else, even more than her lame Gibson performance.

Not saying this is how it will go down, but I really wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility.

And because I'm going to Fenway tonight, Sarah pailn is a liar.

This is the oddest thing I have ever seen

I really thought that McCain campaign picking a fight with the media so brazenly and personally, thus alienating the people in charge of the biggest way most of his message gets to the public, was as strange as it got. But now this? This is absolutely crazy. Something like this would be a longshot to work before he pissed off the media, but now, I honestly can't see anyway this works for him at all.

What McCain has done here is put his whole campaign on the table hoping to roll a hard eight with only one die.

Just so I know

How much sleazier does Palin have to get before I can call her a bitch without anyone thinking it sexist? I mean, she is acting like a two-faced snotty bitch, isn't she?

It really has nothing to do with gender, or at least as much as gender plays into calling Bush a dickhead.

And of course, she is still a liar.

@ PreviouslyCRL

You can't call a woman an asshole. The connotation is not quite right.

Even as terms like bitch and cunt are gender specific, terms such as asshole and dickhead are as well, just gender specific towards men. Yet nobody's called sexist for calling Bush an asshole.

I already have worked cocksucker out of my foul mouthed repetoire, because as much as I liked the term, and thought it applied really well to some people, I had to accept that its connotation is pretty much homophobic.

Look, my view is that many things in life are in fact gender specific, and adhering to this is not necessarily sexist. Its not sexist using proper pronouns, for example. And there has to be some levels between proper use of he/she and saying all women should be barefoot and pregnant.

Amen and pass the ammo!!!

Expectations aside, we have all lived tonight through one of the greatest moments in American history. Know where you were, where you are right now, and be proud of your country tonight. Not only is Jesse Jackson crying tonight, but so is George Washington, so is Thomas Jefferson, So is John Adams. Our founding fathers are so proud of us tonight, and they are all crying very deeply for this great hurdle that we have all overcome tonight.

God bless America- we are all one step closer to deserving his mercy.
