Fact checking jeb

I just went back almost a month of Jeb's comments and letters here, only to find that she has not, as she just claimed she has, ever given any credible documented instance of Obama doing anything that she claims he has.

There was a refernce to that real lame comment Jackson jr. made a few months back, and how Obama was silent about it, but there was never anything about that to make it apeear an intentional Obama tactic, and he said nothing against it probably to keep it from getting any more attention than it did, to the benefit of both campaigns.

But that's all I saw going back to early August. I could go back farther but I do have a life.

Perhaps Jeb, if you so want to avoid having to 'restate' any of this evidence of yours, you could simply just point to the entries of yours where you do state these so called instances.

Original article: Isn't she lovely?

Tremendous speech

I had high hopes for Michelle Obama's speech going in, and yet I did not think she was capable of hitting it as far out she did. It was truly the most impressive speech I have ever seen by a candidate's spouse. The pefect mix of sentimentality and substance, she defined hers and her husband's character magnificently. It's amazing how someone who is not a professional politician, and not at all accustomed to the big crowds can do so well. Seriously, she made Nancy Pelosi look like crap.

I believe the elitist smear is officially put to bed, and the other exotic and foreign smears that McCain's camp were going to try are officially DOA.

ANd people, please ignore Maureen crackpot. She's an idiot, a blowhard, possibly a drunk, and I suspect not really Irish.

Let it go, Jeb

Seriously, move on. It's now officially over. Either get over it or go away.

Original article: Who is McCain's pick?

Mystified

How can McCain pick someone who has an active scandal over their head as Palin does? Maybe nothing comes of this abuse of power accusation, but that won't be known for months. In the meantime, everyone gets to talk about it. Not to mention her very conservative stands on social issues simply can't be that acceptable to the independents and center leaning citizens that he knows he needs to win, especially with independent women. Does he really think that women in this country are so dumb that they'll simply check for an Adam's apple and leave it at that?

This has got to be a head fake.

Governor Sarah Palin... Really?!?

I had composed a long, detailed, serious, analysis of Sarah Palin as McCain's pick. But I read it through, and I just had to say-

An arch conservative; a creationist, anti-choice, anti-environment, anti-gay, soccer mom who has (in her own words) no opinion about Iraq...

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?

I am not saying that this won't work. It might. But what I am saying is, that if this does work, I might consider joining the Taliban, because if this woman gets to be vice president, I might have to change sides, because it'd mean the radicals are more rational than the lunatics running my own country.

If I scream uncle...

Will the world stop with all this crazy shit?

Its getting a little too sexist folks

I would like it if everyone here would cut the gender comments. Yes, Palin is a woman, we've all noticed. And yes, no reasonable person can't see this as anything other than tokenism on McCain's part (and its not sexist to see this; it's sexist of McCain to do it). But really can we all stop mentioning her lady parts? It's beneath adults to harp on her vagina or breasts so much.

Her being a beauty peagent contestant is no big deal either. That was over twenty years ago, and I bet good money she wouldn't be the only woman in national politics to have walked a runway in a one piece swimsuit as a young woman. Its no differnet then the number of former high school quarterbacks in the house.

There is plenty to dislike and criticize about the Governor and her policies. She is an anti- science creationist, a global warming denying hunter, a big oil lackey, an anti-choice, anti contraception (seriously! she is against contraception), she has an abuse of power accusation hanging over her head, and is, quite frankly, a homophobic bigot.

(I know there are reports that she vetoed a bill that would have stripped domestic partnership rights from state employees. She in fact did this, but only after the Alaska SC already said the bill was unconstitutional, and she stated very clearly she favored the bill regardless.)

On top of all this, while she has said twice already in stump speeches that she was against the bridge to nowhere, she was actually in favor of it until it got too embarrassing.

So please, with all this dredge to attack her on, leave her lady parts out of it.

And can people please stop talking to Maureen nutjob?

Really, hasn't everyone else got tired of this blow hard jack ass? She doesn't know what she is talking about, and is just here to be belligerent and insulting.

Really, I don't even think she's actually Irish.
