Impressive window dressing there

Well, there's your list. Let's go through this list one by one, shall we?

S.694 : A bill to direct the Secretary of Transportation to issue regulations to reduce the incidence of child injury and death occurring inside or outside of light motor vehicles, and for other purposes. (This is currently in conference committee to reconcile difference with the House bill)

- A legit bill. Not exactly controversial I would imagine.

S.CON.RES.27 : A concurrent resolution supporting the goals and ideals of "National Purple Heart Recognition Day".

- We have a national purple heart day?

S.RES.21 : A resolution recognizing the uncommon valor of Wesley Autrey of New York, New York

- Boy, I bet she really faced some stiff opposition on this controversial piece of legislation.

S.RES.92 : A resolution calling for the immediate and unconditional release of soldiers of Israel held captive by Hamas and Hezbollah.

- I hope the wording was sharp, because you know Hamas would just ignore polite language.

S.RES.141 : A resolution urging all member countries of the International Commission of the International Tracing Service who have yet to ratify the May 2006 amendments to the 1955 Bonn Accords to expedite the ratification process to allow for open access to the Holocaust archives located at Bad Arolsen, Germany.

- You urge other nations? With what, a stern look?

S.RES.222 : A resolution supporting the goals and ideals of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

- Well, I don't know about you, but I disagree with this one. I am strongly in favor of Cancer. Pancreatic cancer specifically.

S.AMDT.666 to H.R.1591 To link award fees under Department of Homeland Security contracts to successful acquisition outcomes under such contracts.

- Seems pretty common sense to link awards to accomplishments. So if that wasn't the way it worked before, it's good that she changed that.

S.AMDT.2047 to H.R.1585 To specify additional individuals eligible to transportation for survivors of deceased members of the Armed Forces to attend their burial ceremonies.

- Well, if she's going to send their loved ones off to die for her political advantage, its nice to see she won't make them take a cab to their funeral.

S.AMDT.2108 to H.R.1585 To require a report on the planning and implementation of the policy of the United States toward Darfur.

- And hopefully when this report arrived, she read it this time.

S.AMDT.2390 to H.R.2638 To require that all contracts of the Department of Homeland Security that provide award fees link such fees to successful acquisition outcomes.

- Wait a sec. Didn't she already pass this bill above? Is she double dipping?

S.AMDT.2474 to H.R.2638 To ensure that the Federal Protective Service has adequate personnel.

- This is the secret service, right? Okay, she got them more personnel or maybe a raise or something. I'll give her that one.

S.AMDT.2823 to H.R.3074 To require a report on plans to alleviate congestion and flight delays in the New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia Airspace.

- Another report. To tell her that JFK sucks. Does she really need to get a report to tell her this?

S.AMDT.2917 to H.R.1585 To extend and enhance the authority for temporary lodging expenses for members of the Armed Forces in areas subject to a major disaster declaration or for installations experiencing a sudden increase in personnel levels.

- Another decent bill. Not exactly controversial, but good to do.

Okay, there are some things in there that are commendable. But most of this is fluff really. A lot of resolutions, and even some of those are pretty superficial. I mean, I doubt Wesley Autrey getting a congressional pat on the back really faced any opposition.

One other thing: I really hope this isn't the complete list of her work over the last seven years. I'd be kinda pissed if my Senator only managed this anemic list over a year, let alone seven.

Original article: Clinton wins Ohio

Hillary survives

Not the outcome I wanted. I am getting awfully tired of this nomination process. I really hoped it could come to an end tonight.

And Hillary will do her best to take get as much mileage of her win in Ohio and this slim lead at the moment in Texas. Although if she doesn't hold on in Texas I wonder what happened to the must win both Ohio and Texas talk that her campaign started this whole section of the race was. I still believe its true myself. In the end she'll only net about 15 delegates at best, and that should be wiped out in Wyoming and Mississippi and then some.

The only state left she can really win big left is Pennsylvania. She very well might not win a single remaining state other than that one. So she still is not likely to win the nomination in the end.

So while it's a good night for Clinton, you really have to keep it in perspective.
