Obama's HC reform is meaningless without the public option because even though private ins gives up pre-existing conditions etc...they gain all those new clients since ins is mandatory and those who can't pay are subsidized by government. Another big give away to private ins. just like with Big Pharma.

This "Rahm Emanuel" Obama gets historic HC legislation passed making him look all progressive and good even though it will become costly and fail eventually but most importantly gets all the campaign donations for himself and his party from the ins industry and big pharma.

It becomes even more apparent when we consider the democratic convention where all candidates held secret meetings with the corporations with the whole thing funded by AT&T. You do remember the reversal FISA telecom immunity vote by Obama right?
