I've been noticing the different types of responses to posts that different kinds of editorials get. The more thought provoking commentaries are the less republicans have to say about them, especially where there isn't any denying or defending a situation that is what it is. When some intrepid McCain supporter does decide to step out in defense of the man it is to spout drivel about what a mistake Obama is or how he is the anti-christ or.... whatever.
The real extent of republican support consists of, "McCain's a war hero, he deserves our support". "Obama's a Muslim, he won't even say the pledge of allegiance and he turns his back on the flag".
It is embarrassing that there weren't enough intelligent and politically aware people to prevent a second term of Bush, even though it does seem we were railroaded in terms of losing the vote.
You know, I'm starting to think that republicans don't want to win this election, it would be far better for the to be able to dump the whole mess of crap that has been made the last two terms in the democrat's laps, make a four year career out of blocking and interfering with everything they want to do, and take the next election. Nothing would be lost in the four years.
An impeachment is actually crucial to be able to effectively start negating two terms of the worst government in the history of the US.
