@Bod-a-getta

While I hear ya on the armed nutcase concern, if it weren't the birth certificate, it'd be something else. But these jerkoffs seem to be Keyboard Kommando dilettantes relative to the drooling curb corner asshat contingents like the "God Hates Fags" crowd and womens' clinic snipers.

Again, yeah, we are overpopulated with raging lunatics, and security will always have to be especially vigilant where Obama is concerned. But, take away their Birther Certificates, they'll simply fasten their adrenal glands to some other chimerical outrage.

Tammy O'Faye Taitz's head

just exploded on MSNBC.

OMG! Hysterical. YouTube to follow, I'm sure.

Monday, August 3, 2009 01:39 PM

I repeat:

Obama has no need to kiss BirtherNut asses, to "prove" anything to their (unattainable) satisfaction. He's already been vetted. Fully. Neither the Clinton nor McCain campaigns (nor the myriad initial other Dem and GOP contenders) could find any dirt on him, and you can bet that the deadly, deadly serious senior career National Security people would have surreptitiously outed him had there been any skeletons. Get serious. The more these dopes try to justify their idiocy, the more clownish they look.

@didus ineptus

"his real name was Farrokh Bulsara."

Which, of course, spelled backwards in the original Aramaic is -- "Barack Obama".

And which, as has already been reveled via Scripture, was noted to us by Jesus as "The Antichrist."

Be Very Afraid.

I just watched it again

Quality entertainment. Wow. LOL!

So, Obama's mother immediately left the hospital in Kenya, hopped on a transpacific flight so she could walk into the local Hawaii papers' offices with the bogus birth announcement forms.

"...If Obama was born in Kenya, and the mother wanted to lie, she didn't want to go through immigration, she didn't want to pay immigration attorney, she would fill out the form..."

Of course, coming from Kenya into Hawaii, she herself would not have to "go through immigration."

Seriously, I think we've long past the point where we should give these mental microbes any more ink or airtime.

@LondonLad

What's the upside for him? They'd just say it was fake. His upside, marginal though it may indeed be in this increasingly brutish culture, is in just letting them make complete fools of themselves.

The only "proof" that matters to these morons is that which they deem "proves" he's not a citizen, Full Stop. It's the Creation Science argument method on quaaludes. Start with a granite-solid conclusion and work back, being careful to only pick up, retain, and loudly tout "evidence" supporting your conclusion.

@Beans&Greens

I fault MSNBC simply for having her on. She's clearly a lunatic. he doesn't deserve a network or top-tier cable outlet platform. She should be made to stew in apoplectic fury at being "suppressed."

The MSM just love to stir shit up. Maybe MSNBC should be overt about this if they're gonna have her ilk on. Just replace Shuster and his co-anchor with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul, 'cause that is truly the level that this kind of spectacle is on.

@firefly82

See my prior comment. I agree with you regarding the relative on-air conduct, but I disagree that she should ever been granted time on the show. This is one unfortunate aspect of our "infotainment" culture, in which stirring up shit for ratings drives discourse, and simply wastes everyone's time while throwing red meat at the unhinged.

Monday, August 3, 2009 07:29 PM

@firefly82

"Now I don't know whether a major leader of the birthers even could hypothetically be found who would be capable of presenting their case level-headedly and remaining civil in the face of facts."

____

IMO, this woman is not interested in discourse, Q&A, being challenged on assertions of fact. She want a national monologue platform through which to spew as she sees fit, for as long as she sees fit. To the extent that any interviewer tries to rein her in and/or get her back on point, she will loudly and lamely cry "LET ME FINSH, LET ME FINISH, LET ME FINISH!!

She will never be finished.

Again, she does not deserve a MSM platform.

This chick

is fucking CRAZY.

"Lastly"?

"6.lastly, I am not supposed to waste my time and money on this issue, Obama us the one who is supposed to provide evidence of legitimacy"

___

LOL! There will be no "lastly" with this moron.

The clearly mentally ill Tammy O'Faye Taitz has the burden of proof exactly backwards. Obama has no need to kiss her ass, to "prove" anything to her (unattainable) satisfaction.

OK, Willie,

now get your Big Swingin' Willie back here and free Orly Taitz!

Tuesday, August 4, 2009 01:07 PM

Birthers, Deather, Tea Baggers, Congressional local meeting disrupters?

Recall the documentaries 20 years ago lamenting the unapologetic increasing ignorance of our high school students? Kids would couldn't find this or that foreign capitol on a map and didn't give a shit. Kids you couldn't do basic math and didn't give a shit? Kids who couldn't write a coherent sentence and didn't give a shit. But, all of whom nonetheless got socially promoted, and graduated (if they didn't drop out).

These people are now in their 30's and 40's and are one natural political consequence. We see them angrily waving their placards and foaming at the mouth, spewing mindless astroturf bullshit at every turn.

Scary bunch.

How exactly,

as other wingnuts have claimed, does this event comprise a "diplomatic coup" for North Korea and Kim? I'm just not seeing that. Willie made no apology (it would have been above-the-fold screaming front page news), and Kim RELEASED the women. A "coup" would have been in publicly rubbing Clinton's nose in anti-American humiliation and then refusing to release them.

Original article: Quote of the day

@Timothy3

Q: Who said this?

"FINALLY! A President who gets it!"

A: former comedian, now fake "conservative" and 24/7 Obama basher Dennis Miller, at the first Clinton inaugural ball.
