Original article: Two long years to go

Pablo

You're right, sir. I work in health care information technology, and I study all of the policy literature ongoing. I recommend, for one example, that everone read "Overdo$ed America," (Google it, Dr. John Abramson), which provides a boatload of solid data regarding the shitty deal that Americans are getting, owing to corporate gaming of the system. We spend up to double the per capita "health care" expenditures relative to those of comparable industrializeds nations, and rank near the bottom in clinical outcomes across the board. It's criminal.

Bush's proposal won't change that reality one iota.

Original article: Scooter's tragic innocence

GUILTY

He LIED, repeatedly, proactively, and in affirmative detail.

Some things in life are relatively simply.

Guilty as charged.

"Augmentation!"

Yeah, otherwise known as a Boob Job.

Appropriate, for this Maladministration.

Given the stakes, I rightfully expect

a President vastly smarter, more experienced, and more accomplished than am I (Bush and I are roughly the same age). That this inarticulate, incoherent, dilettante MORON is the most dangerously powerful man on the planet just galls me to no end every day.

Because it HAS TO work, therefore it WILL work?

Yeah, there's a granite-solid syllogism for ya.

Bush in three words

Batteries Not Included.

Max

Next up? (unless he gets to nuke the whole planet)

MLB Commish. He can fuck up pro baseball, do for it what he's done for everything else he's ever graced with his inverse Midas Touch.

Let us also not forget

That Scooter is charged with lying to federal investigators and to a federal grand jury. More than once. In proactive affirmative detail, obstructing justice in the process.

Guilty.

A CIA NOC operative was outed for no good reason. That charging and convicting anyone of that crime may have been rendered problematic by people like Libby doesn't mitigate the charges against him one iota.

Why all the lying and stonewalling if it was no big deal? It was/IS a big deal, and we need to get to the bottom of it.

Standard inmate visitor hours once a month.

I don't want my son

to be picking up body parts in Iraq or making forward area MASH unit beds after KIAs are removed and put in coffins.

Adam, Adam, Adam...

LOL!

Of course, we all know that Iraqis (and the broader Terrist movement) get up each day and hold focus groups through which to carefully gauge U.S. domestic political opinion before deciding on their next anti-occupation moves.

Defining "terrorism"

In Nevada, where I live, a state legislator introduced a bill several years ago defining "terrorism" as "...or any act that interferes with law enforcement."

Not kidding.

It failed to go anywhere (and was loudly hooted down in the press), but just shows the extent of idiocy in government generally.

Original article: Ask the pilot

Here's what I'll do -- count on it.

If I'm ever held hostage on a plane like these people have been, you can fucking bet I'll give an Oscar-worthy having-an-AMI performance (heart attack), a drooling, chest-clutching, groaning tour de force.

You think these dumbasses will wanna risk a wrongful death lawsuit? I'll be in the ambulance and outa there in no time.

Gonzo tries the Ken Lay defense

I got'cher "political stunt" for the ages right here

http://www.bgladd.com/The_Disgracer_in_Chief.jpg

Stunt? Bushie Boy, your entire tenure is one lame, arrogant stunt after another.

BobbyG to Cheney

You didn't get "elected" in the first place. You were appointed by political cronies on the Supreme Court.

Go [bleep] yourself.
