Actually, I believe those are out of the Obama tactic playbook also. It goes:
When you find the slightest evidence of impropriety but nothing else to suggest that it's a pattern, present the meager evidence that you have, followed by an ominous baritone voice saying, "Clinton's a bitch."
I believe the other works that way too.
"Whenever anything untoward is said or done by anyone who is in any way affiliated with the Clinton campaign (Blumenthal), or has ever had any sort of interaction with Clinton whatsoever (Blumenthal), or just seems to support Clinton (Blumenthal) or not support Obama, this should immediately be framed as coming directly from the candidate herself....and Clinton is to be blamed for it all.
Here's another variation of that last one:
Whatever goes wrong in Obama's campaign, be sure to blame it all on Hillary. It's Hillary's fault.
And then there is:
Refer to an Obama/24/7 website opinion as a meaningful reference for your argument - sure the cinch the deal in the whatever you say.
I'll repeat myself. Blumenthal. So fucking what.
It's Huffingtonpost chum bait for Obama sharks to feed on. Lots of REAL HARD EVIDENCE THERE! Do you see it made into "something" on any major MSM site? No. Not even on Politico.com Wow, big bunch of major breaking news that. Not only is it suspect but no one else gives a shit.
So fucking what.
Once again, Obama playbook tactic of if you can't get negate the argument, refer to another one.
My impressive command of profanity aside (ooh, one word!), you obviously don't want Obama or his supporters, including you, to have to play by the same rules you insist that Clinton supporters must.
Your little reference is not directly related to the Clinton campaign but you sure are ready to make sure that Clinton gets blamed for it, aren't you?
Can you say "hypocrite"?
Although...I saw your last post and I want to commend you on your willingness to say you were not perfectly right and eat some crow.
I'll take the hypocrite comment back.
...according to Rasmussen's poll. I think that means they consider what he said is controversial including the tenets of black liberation theology as Wright states them. I think that says more than anything. I also think this apologia will do more to hurt Obama far more than it will help him. It is radical to middle class white America and that is who Obama needs to convince to win in November.
Also, if we are to buy that the insistence that Wright's AIDS statement is just a "trope" - someone better inform 12% of the Black population that actually believes it's true, not as a trope, but as a fact.
bringing back horses, mules and donkeys, with the exception using them to pull heavy loads. I think that's a great idea. I think also people who ride their bicycle to work on a regular basis should get a tax break.
Or how even as a prostitute, can I then kill a bunch of men in GTA? Rip their penis's off and stuff them down their throat or up their ass? Hey, sounds fair to me.
that Clinton has big, brass balls of fortitude. The terminology doesn't bother me one bit. It's a real compliment in an odd way. Sure it would be nice if we could put that in feminine terms and come up with something as...tough. But I don't know that anything would have that great sound. So, "big, brass balls" sounds pretty damn good to me.
And I like how she handled Bill O. And personally, the gas-tax holiday may not be all it's cracked up to be, but I think her critics, including Obama, have gone way overboard in criticizing it. Considering that Obama voted three time for a gax tax relief in Illinois, his accusation of her pandering as something that he doesn't do, is downright ingenuous. He certainly pandered when it suited him then and he panders when it suits him now ($1000 tax rebate isn't a pander? Come on!).
I realize that all the "Joan Haters" haven't really gotten here quite yet, but I just wanted to say that, even when I don't agree with you (which isn't a small amount) that in the face of the crap that's been thrown at you, that I'm glad you have stuck to your guns (is that a 'male' term?).
And that I have admired your "fortitude" not to bow to the pressure here to only speak positively or negatively of either candidate. The insanity that has been written here in the letters section has been unfair, unreasonable and literally insane. So, good job!
And I would like the owners of Salon to hear that, too.
Ya know...you just really transformed that for me. Wow! I might have to go out and buy one of those, which is one of the craziest things I've said in a long time (and I've found myself saying some crazy things lately because this campaign).
What I really want is both a Clinton and an Obama bobblehead. Most of them are demeaning of Clinton, but I saw a picture of one that was fabulous of her during the Penn primary and I want one. I haven't found one that I like of Obama quite yet either.
Bless my soul and bless my assgoodness gracious great balls of gas!
You know manos99, I must be feeling generous tonight, so I'm going to compliment you. That has to be the funniest thing I've read here for a while. I'm still laughing.
Thanks! You can insult me now.
