It's Funny...
[Read the article: Brand-aid]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If this were an article that was positive about Clinton or had anything really objective to say about her, Obama supporters would be screaming, literally screaming that Salon was shilling for Clinton's campaign. Ah yes, the media isn't biased...
And god forbid a Clinton supporter complain and, wow, the attack dogs come out. And they will.
Sorry but this article is just more Obama worship and hysteria repackaged and marketed to look like it's saying something substantial about Obama. Just another container for Obama supporters to come on in and spew on about how they hate Clinton, what a bitch she is, how she makes their skin crawl, and project the rage that they feel at Bush into some place that they think can really cause damage (since it's impotent against doing anything about Bush). So very, very inspiring all that hate and vitriol. So, so uniting of Democrats. No, not divisive at all.
But what they don't realize is that IF Obama becomes the nominee, he will NEED, yes NEED, all of the Clinton supporters to vote for him. All those supporters who care about Clinton and think the world of her. Wow, what a thought!! They actually CARE DEEPLY about Clinton just like Obama supporters care about Obama. Yes, indeed. That very Clinton that Obama supporters spew their vehemence, hate and vitriol at right now. Yep, the very one. And they should know that Clinton supporters will hardly forget how Clinton was treated and how they were treated and disrespected in return.
Because all of that "INSPIRING AND UNITING" vitriol, hate and loathing of Clinton will soon come home to roost. Because I'm telling you, if Obama supporters are thinking the Republicans and Independents who are able to vote for Obama now, are going to be there voting for him in November...they're bigger fools than any Clinton supporter ever was.

Eating Crow
[Read the article: Quarter of Clinton supporters would vote McCain over Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What an interesting aside for Obama supporters and (Obama himself making it a talking point) who for the longest time CROWED to heavens loud and clear for everyone to hear that if Clinton (that bitch! that whore! WHO would vote for her?) became the nominee they would vote for McCain or not vote.
Wow! All that nastiness comes home to roost. Hope it tastes ummmm good!!!

If I were black
[Read the article: Dowd: Are (Hillary's) women necessary? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I would without any hesitation be full-throttle, hard-core for Obama, because he is black, because he is Democrat and because he may win. I totally understand that and have no problem with a black person being for him completely primarily because he is black. I say, "Good for you!" And I don't think anyone else has much of a problem with Blacks being for Obama for those reasons.
Which is why I DON'T understand why women, especially older white women, who are voting for Clinton are so demonized, criticized and ridiculed for voting for a woman for exactly the same reasons. To say this isn't hateful of women in GENERAL is misogynist...at best!
Fair consideration? Hardly.

@little lord baltimore
[Read the article: Dowd: Are (Hillary's) women necessary? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Did I SAY that made you or anyone, black or white who chooses to vote for Obama are hateful of women?
That's a bit of a stretch to what I said so I believe you need to reread my letter. Some of the things you say I say or infer that I say, I did not.
THOSE women who voted for Clinton, all have very specific reasons to vote for her, one of which includes being a woman. No more of less than any black person who votes for Obama and NOT just because he's black. But let's get real, no more or less than those women who are voting for Clinton because she is a woman has something to do with their vote, I bet that Obama being black has JUST AS MUCH to do with many blacks who vote for him too.
So, why is it deemed fair to insult those women as women?
I am sorry to hear that you were called a traitor. Although, I had two black women in my neighborhood at our caucus tell me (in whispers, mind you) that they were called traitors, cunts, whores, and bitches by other black women because they voted for Clinton. I think they deserve just as much respect if not more for what they went through to vote what they believe. Do they deserve such insult too? I think not.
