You might want to read the article more carefully before you blast off with your ignorance. It DOES NOT SAY that rape is about violence and NOT sex.

And sorry, if you study rape, you will find that that for serial rapists it's about rage and a feeling of control that is implicit in the violence. Psychologically, men who rape women or children are extremely angry individuals. For 99 percent of rapists, it's about reasserting their superiority over victim because they feel dominated by both men and women in the rest of their life. And they'll take it on a woman or a child...why?..because they can. Because the woman or the child is physically incapable of defending themselves even against a loser. It's the only time they feel like a man. Violence is ALWAYS about creating a sense of superiority for the perpetrator. ALWAYS.

And this includes gang rape. Men who participate in gang rape do so to participate in the social feeling of superiority. Sex is secondary.

Culturally, rape is prevalent in societies where women and children are thought of as PROPERTY.

I'll repeat that in case you didn't read that clearly, either.

AS PROPERTY. To bought and sold and USED as such. This is also a psychological device for men in those societies to feel superior.

In addition, rape is a tool used in war to terrorize both women and children to demoralize the enemy. If that's not violence above sex, I don't know what is.

Furthermore, rape is brutal to it's victims psychologically, if not physically. Depression, PTSD, acute anxiety disorders, suicide and sometimes even psychosis are it's ramifications for an individual. That's because of the "violence" inherent in it, NOT the sex.

You should pray that your IGNORANT ASS never sees this kind of sex.

Original article: MoveOn endorses Obama

MoveOn Endorsement is Divisive and Destructive

It's funny, the other day Obama said Clinton is a divisive figure.

Because of this, MoveOn has lost my financial and volunteer support because of this. Not necessarily because of the endorsement per se, but because it's NOT their place to do this. This is like the Democratic Party coming out and endorsing one candidate over the other in the middle of the race. It really is reaching beyond themselves and creating a divisive position that is destructive rather than constructive to the race overall.

I wonder how volunteers for MoveOn who support Clinton feel about this? I for one will no longer work for them or contribute in anyway to this organization because of this, no matter who gets the nomination.

Now who is being divisive? Are you listening MoveOn?

Sigh...This is Why I Don't Trust Obama

I like Obama but, especially when it comes to healthcare, I DON'T TRUST HIM. This only adds more fuel to fire for that mistrust. I would bet money that if he gets into office, "universal" healthcare goes the way of the nearest circular file cabinet.

I just can't get the people who can't afford health insurance thing and then people who "game" the system, according to him, are going to get fined twisted logic. So, if a person doesn't buy health insurance and they end up in the hospital or with some horrific disease, are they going to get billed for it? Whose going to cover the cost?

And, how are we going to determine if someone is "gaming the system"? What system if health insurance isn't mandated?

Obama talks a good game but I just think it's just that, a good game. Just enough to get him into office.

And you have your head in the sand and have bought the Obamazombie 'hate Hillary' trance tripe. Character assassination? Nasty and mean-spirited. Sorry, but it's been Obama doing the character assassination of Clinton. It's Obama being divisive, nasty and mean-sprited here.

And this flyer proves as much. Oddly enough, a lot of progressives being reminded by this of the attacks that took the original proposal down may prove be a big negative for Obama.

Employers Discriminate ALL the Time

through employment agencies. A friend of mine works for one where it's an unstated policy that the client companies do not want anyone above the age of 30, for one and must BE WHITE. They will quietly ignore resumes/interviews from obviously older and minority applicants. Certain jobs will only be allowed interviews by male applicants.

These are white collar jobs, executive sales and such. The client companies obviously use employment agencies so they can get around the law.

So, Discrimination is ALIVE AND WELL.

A Complaint

I could barely hear Tracy's video because of the movie ad for Two Days in Paris continuously playing in the background. THAT ad and others like it should have a way to stop the sound.

First Off, Dick Cheney?

Okay, what was that about?

And while I don't begrudge Oprah not being a traitor for not voting for woman, isn't it a bit disingenuous to suggest that Obama being black has NOTHING to do with her choice? Which loyalty are we talking here? It seems to me, she's still choosing because of a loyalty. Maybe she could be just a TAD more honest.

And what reality or sanity is there behind driver's license for undocumented workers? What? Will the INS look the other way when they are issued? Like this is really possible. Furthermore, what happens when one of these undocumented workers get into an accident? This is a recipe for disaster. This is Obama pandering to get the Latino vote. This is someone who will promise and say whatever people what to hear to get elected. Period.

What is hope if it's just fluffy promises filled with air?
