  • women's advantages over men...

[Read the article: Older women: Sexy or scary?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This topic interested me...so...naturally I googled it.

Here is the first thing that popped out to me.

"Men think that all women are different and there is no way to understand them. Women think that all men are the same, and there is no way to change them."

Here's an advantage...if this is true, then men spend more time trying to figure out women, and women spend more time letting things go.

How is this an advantage? If one spends more time worrying about how to have complete knowledge of the opposites way of thinking...theres more time to know that person as an individual...If you stop looking at women as a whole...you will find that they(like men)are better known as one then a group.

Women are also known to be more emotionally inept..

We know when someone feels bad and how to speak to them. We know when someone looks like they feel bad and just want attention to vent. Men are more likely to let it be. In some cases that's just what most men want...to be let alone. Women will proceed to find out what is wrong and when snapped at, but out.....in most cases. When men are snapped at they begin an argument and in turn either make the person feel worse or themselves.

Women are nurturing. We naturally know how to speak to children and what is right for them and how to calm them down. Men, mostly, get frustrated and abandon the situation or argue with them. We are nurturing....that is our nature....and as our biology puts it plainly...that is our meaning.

There is a growing body of literature that indicates that women are more likely than men to be under treated for their pain.

It appears that gender affects not only pain perception, pain coping, and pain reporting, but also pain-related behaviors, including use of health care and the social welfare system. It is also probable that men and women differ systematically in their responses to pain treatments, although further research is needed in this area.

For many common pain conditions, including migraine and tension-type headache, facial pain, and abdominal pain, population-based studies indicate higher prevalence rates in adult women than in adult men.

Despite the difficulties with human laboratory experiments on pain sensitivity, many investigators are willing to draw the inference from these studies that women are, in general, more sensitive to painful stimuli than men, and that this difference is biologically based.

Whatever the pain prevalence differences for men and women, most studies show that women seek health care for pain at a higher rate than men.

    AND....

....A woman has the last word in any argument.

Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument....

    ...Women love cats.

Men say they love cats, but when women aren't looking, men kick cats....

Doesn't that mean in a way that people have reproductive instincts of an animal...mixture of bears and lovebirds.

Men subconsciously want to reproduce as much as possible....choosing and fighting over the most fertile and healthy ones. When she bares children moves on to the next. While women have a natural desire to have children, and pick the best life mate based on their ability to nurture and provide. Thats what makes it optimal....we as animals have a need to reproduce many...but still have the desire to be monogamous.
